Results of Dancing with the Stars All-Start

Updated on November 28, 2012

When DWTS All-Star started coming on, I knew I had to keep up with it because it is one of my favorite shows to see especially when they start dancing. To some this may be a silly show because you wonder, who in the world is that person or what show was that person on, sometimes you wonder why they even chose that person to even dance or participate.

As I saw that it was going to be an all star competition, I knew they would bring back certain contestants, but I didn't expect certain to be back like Pamela Anderson, Bristol Palin, I wasn't too surprised about Kirstie because she was an okay dancer, she did have her moves. From the start of the show, you could kind of see which star would probably make it all the way to the end because of how good they danced.

This season was different many ways because it wasn't just the same routines like always, you were able to see many new dances that not even the professionals knew about. It was interesting to see how each contestant faced each challenge. Among the many challenges that they had, which one do you think was your favorite? Mine, well, I liked it when they had to do the fusion dances because they had to put the two dances together and make it work and some of those contestants really made it work that time.

As the contestants kept on dwindling down, you were able to see that even those with the highest scores got sent home because they didn't receive all the votes. I know that I voted for sure because I wanted my favorite to stay in and I glad to say they stayed in until the finally, unfortunately they didn't win. I was rallying for Shawn and Derek but you know they were against Melissa and one must agree that she also did a good job and it was going to be her first mirror ball, so they were second place to another good dancer.

Many may say that it isn't worth watching this show but sometimes it is interesting to see all the happens during this show. You are able to see the chemistry that some of these professionals and celebrities have and how they can work together. Some even show that they may be more than just friends depending on how they show affection with each other. Each one of these dancers had their personality and you were able to see in the way that they danced each time.

Now sometimes I noticed that the judges were a bit harsh at times, I understood that they had to be harsh because these are contestants that have already been on the show before and so they knew what to expect from them. However, sometimes you could see that they kind of favored some and really picked on others, but overall they did their job on giving the scores that each contestant deserved.

The way this season ended was good, and the last two contestants left deserved to be there because of how good they were. Did you watch the whole dancing competition from start to ending? Did you like the way that it ended with who won the mirror ball?

I stopped watching it after the first few episodes. The judges made it pretty clear from the beginning who would make it through, and they all had their little pet faves. As soon as I heard that Sabrina and then Gilles were eliminated, I knew there was a reason I didn't watch it!

I do watch the show, and sometimes I get frustrated with the judges. And now I'm thinking I don't really understand the shows purpose. I agree that Melissa is a good dancer - but she should be. She was a Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader. Isn't that pretty close to being a professional dancer?

And I adore Shawn Johnson, but isn't part of being an Olympic Gymnast, a floor dance routine?

I used to think the show was to have professional dancers, dance with "Stars" and teach them how to dance, and at the end of the show, the person that learned the most, and could out-dance the other "Stars" would win.

My favorites were Kelly Manaco, and Gilles Marini, based on what I feel the show should be about.

Thanks for writing this. It's fun to share our thoughts about it.

At first it was like that but they seem to be changing the way that they do the show and who they pick. Makes me think if they are picking celebrities who know how to dance already...hmmm.

I think that each judge did have their favorites but at same time tried to make audience think they didn't, which didn't always work with every person who watched the show. I noticed it too...the judges were pretty good at confusing many people, at least I think so.
