Ok, I set my eight year old daughter loose on our Netflix account and invited her for the first time after forbidding her to add movies to our Netflix Instant Queue, the section of Netflix where you can save movies for later viewing.

She found this strange series called 30 Second Bunnies Theatre. I never heard of that and when I searched Hub Pages for this, I could not find any hubs, so I had to write this hub for you and introduce you to the world of classic movies re-enacted by bunny rabbits all in 30 seconds.

What can I say? Hilarious!!! If you are at least 30 years old and have seen movies like these:

  • The Wizard of Oz
  • Spiderman 1,2, and 3
  • Freddy vs Jason
  • Star Wars
  • Alien
  • Sixteen Candles (with Molly Ringwald where everyone forgot her birthday).
  • Speaking of Molly Ringwald, the Ring
  • Hellraiser
  • Saw
  • King Kong
  • Reservoir Dogs (the Quentin Tarantino version)
  • Rocky Horror Picture Show
  • Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer
  • And about 35 other classic movies

You can search for these on Netflix or watch them directly at - What is so cool about this series is that all of them fly through each movie in 30 seconds flat.

Now, you can see that I listed a lot of horror movies and thrillers and when you replace all the characters with bunnies, it is just down right amazingly funny. Plus, I find bunnies cute.

Even the monsters like Pinhead and the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park have bunny ears and some of the blood and violence has been cleaned up in some cartoons, but watch out when you watch this, because there is some adult language and cursing, so if you are watching these with your children, watch them first to check out the language. Not all of them have bad words (as children like to refer to them as).

30 Second Bunnies Theatre is the brain child of Jennifer Shiman, who not only writes, produces, and directs each cartoon, but also stars in all of them with special guest stars voicing some of the characters. Jennifer Shiman is a writer and animator and I believe she found good success with 3SBT.

Ok, here are some of the cartoons you need to watch and laugh with:

Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds

I was not much of an Alfred Hitchcock fan, but I am a fan of The Birds movie and 30 Second Bunnies Theatre got this one right. The birds are nasty and the bunnies' eyes are poppy like.

Star Trek 2 - The Wrath of Khan

Ricardo Montalban looks funny with bunny ears, but this was one funny clip for Star Trek fans every where.

Arnold Schwarzenegger is a bunny? Anything is possible in this cartoon series. Check out Terminator for yourself.
