Rosalee Sher: by request
Steve Carlson Band
Who is Rosalee Sher?
I have been asked to write this and in spite of attempts to find out more about the woman who is Rosalee Sher, she is an enigma.
In the course of the last two weeks or so I have done my research and found that at one web site the extent of her bio was : Female... Yeah I had gathered that, or rather guessed by her photos, singing and the fact that she is married to Darren Sher.
Another web site lists her last name as Carlson. but in looking for info on Darren Sher I found even worse information which has thankfully slipped out of the top ten search results for Darren Sher, The fact that 30% of the letters in this name are vowels... And people accuse me of stating the obvious. Thankfully Google is turning up more pertinent information as of this writing.
My point is that it is very difficult for me to tell you about someone I have never met or seen in person, can only find minimal information and photos of...
When has lack of information ever stopped me from writing a hub?

Back-up Singer Rosalee Sher
Rosalee seems to be fine as a back-up singer, willing to follow orders and direction, willing to raise others up with her beautiful voice. She sits quietly on the stage in many a show clip as the audience reacts to the singing style and storytelling of Steve Carlson. She sings back-up on Supernatural, according to her extensive resume...
Having spent so many years in the shadow of other artists it is easy to see in the video that follows, her delight at being chosen, and how hard she is willing to work for her place in the show.
I have many videos on YouTube of her blending her voice to Steve Carlson's, never overpowering, always just decorating the melodies, with her harmonies. It is an amazing contrast to see her take the center stage and really deliver her powerful voice to the audience.

Please pay attention This Summer
Make it their summer. The release of the single "I Believe" was June 24th 2010. It is entered in a contest, so I am told, for August on The Hossey Music Awards Show at Hoss the Boss.com for that information. According to the contest rules, it's just about bragging rights, but to win is to be entered in the final contest in December.
Now, here at Hub Pages, we all know how uplifting those contests that involve bragging rights can be. I mean, our own HubNuggets team gives us the honor of voting for the newest and brightest stars among the Hub writing set here at HP. For those of us who have won the right to brag (bragging here) it is the most amazing feeling. You get the e-mail that you were nominated, and that's exciting in itself, but when you find that you made the grade, even the top three get in the weekly newsletter! Not to mention the amount of readership you get just for being nominated.
So please, listen to the song, go to Hosstheboss.com and listen to the other nominees, and vote. I will assume you are voting for my team, because I sent you, but be fair judges, and listen. Maybe there is someone better or more deserving of the honor... As for me and the other fans of Steve Carlson and Rosalee and Darren Sher, no doubt in our minds that you'll be voting with us.

What can we learn from Rosalee
This is easy, and again stating the obvious. Rosalee's passion comes through in her music. What is your passion?
When you know what you want out of life, paying the dues is easy. Many of us pay dues for dreams that are not our own, following the hopes our parents have for us, or going along with what our friends are doing, or we just find out what we are qualified for, without asking ourselves what we are passionate about.
What are you passionate about? Do that, pay your dues at it, and you will also have an extensive resume, and a very satisfying life.
