Samsung 3D Glasses For TV

More and more movies, TV are going 3D. The future or more like the present is in 3D technologies and Samsung is revolutionizing it. The experiences of seeing a movies or watch a football games in 3D is like no others. There is something about the feeling of being parts of the movies that you can not beat.


Types of 3D glasses

Before you go out and randomly buying 3D glasses, you need to understand the basics. Besides having the right TV, computers, and maybe software for 3D viewing, there are 3 different types of 3D glasses:

Anaglyph 3D glasses:

Anaglyph glasses are an old school type of 3D glasses. There are several types of anaglyph 3D glasses: red and cyan, red and green, and red and blue…etc. Anaglyph 3D glasses are great if you want to have an inexpensive ways to watch 3D movies without buying the fancy 3D TV…etc.

Anaglyph 3D glasses will only work for movies/games that are in anaglyph formats. They will not work on 3D TV, 3D video game…etc.

Polarized 3D glasses:

If you have been to the movies lately, than you were probably given these glasses. Polarized glasses are usually more expensive than anaglyph and their only use is in the movie theater. It is not very suitable for home uses.

Stereoscopic 3D glasses:

Stereoscopic glasses are what you want to buy to experiences 3D at its best. These glasses can get a lot more pricy than the polarized glasses but if you want the full 3D experiences at its best regardless if it is for a movie, games…etc, it is well worth the money to invest in stereoscopic glass.


Samsung 3D Glasses:

Samsung SSG-2200AR: Weighting at 1.4 ounces, the Samsung SSG-2200AR 3D glass requires that you sit straight with your head backward like you would at a movie theater. Do not let that fool you, the quality you get from this glass is well worth the extra effort. While it is light, it is also sturdy, although it is recommended that you do not try to test their “sturdiness” out.

The Samsung SSG-2200AR also has a rechargeable battery so you do not have to buy new batteries every time you watch a new movie. Plug into any USB port while you continue watching and the battery will be full in two hours. This will allow you to watch 30 continuous hours without it being plug in.

Samsung SSG-2100AB: At 1.3 ounces, this 3D glass is the lightest on the market. Although it is describes as flimsy by others, you are provided with a soft case. The comfort level from this flimsy glass is well worth the extra effort of caring for it. With a power saving options, you can last up to 50 hours watching movies. While this glass requires that you replace the battery, the hassle is well worth it for quality 3D images.



Now you can not watch a 3D movie on a regular TV, you need a 3D TV. Various companies such as Samsung, Mitsubishi have developed 3D HDTV at affordable price. These new TV provides exceptional color quality as well as resolution. The future is in 3D TV.
