A Scooby Doo Party

Updated on March 19, 2016

Scooby Doo and Halloween

I grew up watching Scooby Doo. He has changed some over the years, but he is still around today. Now my kids can watch Scooby Doo as well, (thanks to reruns). Scooby is always in style, and not just on Halloween! I had a Scooby Doo party for my daughter, and we used the cake kit pictured below. It was a big hit!

Have a Great Scooby Doo Theme Party!

Having a Scooby Doo Halloween party can be a lot of fun!

Just gather your Scooby Doo party supplies, get a Scooby Doo cake or cupcakes, and then have the kids dress as characters from Scooby Doo. Invite the guests to dress as ghosts, monsters, or any thing else they want to dress as. Scooby Doo is always chasing villains, so any type of costume will fit this party theme!

Scooby Doo cakes and cupcakes

Everyone loves a good cake, and a cake can be the centerpiece at your party. Here are some ideas for Scooby Doo cakes and cupcakes. You can make cupcakes and use Scooby Doo rings like you see here.

You may decide you want a cake instead of cupcakes. The cake pictured below can easily be made as scary as you like to fit the ages of your guests. Just add some black tree trunks on each side of a sheet cake (don't put leaves on the trees so they will look dead), pipe a couple of ghosts peeping out from behind the trees, and use the Scooby Doo and Mystery Machine cake kit on top. It fits right in because this kit shows Scooby and Shaggy scared out of their wits!

My son helped me rediscover Scooby Doo this past summer. He's fascinated so we watched several movies and the latest cartoon show. He'd have been a cute Scooby Doo for Halloween but I didn't even think about it for some reason!
