Skywalking - Russia's Latests and Dangerous Trend

Updated on July 26, 2012

Two words you never thought you'd hear together: Extreme photography. Sounds ridiculous, right? Well get a load of these pictures taken by photographers Vadim Mahorov, Marat Dupri, and Kirill Vselenskiy.

It's called "Skywalking" and it's a growing trend in Russia. Teens scale varies buildings and other tall structures without the use of any sort of safety line or netting. Once photographers feel they are in the perfect (and often times most dangerous) position, they snap an unforgettable photo. They utilize whatever means they can to scale the tall structures and to by-pass any security. It should go without saying that these stunts are very much illegal. But that doesn't stop these thrill-seeking teens from taking some tremendous photos. And videos.

Is it a love for art or adventure? Perhaps it's a perfect marriage of both. Maybe you admire their fearless courage or criticize their dangerous actions. I certainly feel a strange mixture of the two. But at the end of the day, we can all agree that these kids take some amazing photos that leave viewers breathless...and a little bit nauseous.
