I decided to try to think up names of songs about games or that had something referring to a game or games in the title. Surprisingly, there are quite a few songs about games. It surprised me how many there actually are. I'm sure there are many more songs about games that I have forgotten. Can you add to my songs list about games?

Joe South was born in Atlanta, Georgia in 1940. He is a Grammy winning singer. Games People Play was his biggest hit. It won two Grammys. He has also written many popular songs sung by others, including I Never Promised You a Rose Garden, Down in the Boondocks, Hush, Yo-Yo. I Never Promised You a Rose Garden also won a Grammy.

About Tommy Edwards and the Song It's All in the Game
It's All in the Game was sung by Tommy Edwards on the Ed Sullivan Show. The hit song reached number 1 on the charts in 1958 and stayed there for 3 weeks.The song was composed by the future vice president of the United States, Charles Dawes.
Tommy Edwards died of a brain aneurysm at the young age of 47 in Richmond, Virginia. It was rumored, but not proven, to have been caused by alcoholism.

About John Fogerty
John Fogerty was born in Berkeley, California. John Fogerty formed Creedence Clearwater Revival with his brother Tom. The band was originally called Tommy Fogerty and the Blue Velvets in the 1950s. John left Creedence Clearwater Revival in 1971 because of problems with his brother and other members of the band.
Fogerty had a lawsuit filed against him for the single Old Man Down the Road from his Centerfield album released in 1985. His music publisher claimed that Old Man Down the Road was too similar to a Creedence Clearwater Revival song, Run Through the Jungle.
