The Story Behind the Show

Vincent van Gogh is one of the greatest artists the world has ever seen. Capturing the entirety of his career, "Starry" takes the audience through Goghs' thoughts and mindset as well as those closest to him. Featuring his brother and sister-in-law Theo van Gogh and Jo Bonger as well as other artists such as Paul Gauguin, the musical expresses the life of van Gogh among various eyes and perspectives. The show begins at the time when the van Gogh brothers decide to go against the status quo of art in Montmartre and carries the viewers to the end of Vincents' life and the influence he left for the world. The musical showcases the highs and lows of Vincent van Goghs' career and expresses the importance of his most renowned paintings. "Starry" truly seizes the beauty of van Goghs' legacy and brings audiences to his unbelievable philosophy on life and art.
