Thanos : A Villain With All Emotions
Avengers infinity war, the fourth highest-grossing film of all time, as well as the highest-grossing film of 2018, the highest-grossing MCU film, and the highest-grossing superhero film.
It has got all those feathers in its cap. It has got a wide range of MCU superheroes in it.....and it has got a wide range of suphero's death in it....ooops!
But instead all of those superheroes.....the center attraction was THANOS...
His empathy with Thor
In the very beginning we see Thanos saying, "I know what it's like to lose. To feel so desperately that you're right... yet to fail, nonetheless." He shares the feeling with Thor....the feeling of being desperate....the feeling of being right....and yet to loose. As he lost his homeland and now Thor has lost too.
He is the father
He did the massacre in Gamora' planet... but it's his love and care as a father which was deep within him made him to take Gamora as his daughter. He knew her better than anyone I guess.......he knew she cared for him, he knew what she could ask Starlord to do.
He hoped not anyone but Gamora to sit on his throne. He made her the fiercest woman in the Galaxy. And he didn't teach her to lie.
He loved and he mourned
He got the Soul Stone but he had to pay the price. He sacrificed his beloved daughter Gamora who thought it was impossible for him to love anyone. But he did love her....he did cried for her.
He is the survivor
He knows balance is important for humanity. It's important for all the good reasons you could think of and so does he. But maybe his ways are to make it is insane...when Dr. Strange called him sarcastically a PROPHET, he simply said , " I am a survivor."
He knows wisdom could be a curse
He respects Iron man as a wise man. He hopes people will remember him. And he empathize with him as he said, "You're not the only one cursed with knowledge."
It cost everything for him
It cost everything. He lost his daughter. He lost many of his followers. At last he was seen watching sunrise as he wanted before...but you could feel his weariness...after all "the hardest choices require strongest will."
