List of Japanese Live-Action Movies From 2014-2015
Update: Few days counting and we will all welcome 2016. And so I’ve decided to update this article and add more Japanese live-action movies in 2015 and to feed your curiosity on what adaptation to watch in 2015.

Expect that it will give you an adaptation that is worth your money, time and great acting from the cast. Speaking of the cast, Japanese actors Takeru Satoh and Ryunosuke Kamiki are playing the main role. And yes, Takeru Satoh is really perfect for playing the character of Morikitaka. In addition, actress Nana Komatsu is also part of this movie playing the character of Miho Azuki.

You’ve been praying for an adaptation of this anime, it is now granted. Although this movie received mixed reactions from fans it is still worth watching because of Haruma Miura. It is very important to know the cast for us to examine if they are worth to play every character of this adaptation. Of course don’t forget Assassination Classroom to include on your list. If you are a fan of Ryosuke Yamada of Hey! Say JUMP and have read the manga, then give it a try. It is highly recommended by fans and you can expect a great acting from the cast. A part 2 of this film is set to release on 2016 (Assassination Classroom: Graduation). So before you mark your calendars, you should first watch its Part 1.
10. Kin Kyori Renai
Yuni Kururugi is a smart high school student. She excels in all subjects except for English. A new English teacher begins work at Yuni's high school. His name is Haruka Sakurai and he is very handsome.
Yuni begins to receive one-on-one tutoring from Mr. Haruka Sakurai. Soon, Yuni develops feelings for her teacher and she realizes that she is now in love. Yuni then confesses to her teacher.

9. Over Your Dead Body
Kousuke Hasegawa is cast for the stage play "Makoto Yotsuya Kaidan” which is based on the traditional ghost story Yotsuya Kaidan. The ghost story revolves around betrayal, murder, and the revenge of Tamiya Iemon and Oiwa. Kousuke Hasegawa plays main male character Tamiya Iemon and his girlfriend Miyuki Goto plays main female character Oiwa.
Kousuke Hasegawa landed the role due to Miyuki Goto’s recommendation, but Kousuke Hasegawa continues cheating on her by having intimate relationships with other actresses involved in the same stage play.
Meanwhile, Miyuki Goto has trouble separating her real self from the character of Oiwa.

7. Aibou: The Movie III
Tokumei Gakari (Special Mission Task Team) – is not considered as important as it might sound. It is positioned in the lowest section of the Metropolitan Police Department and so-called as the “oversized garbage dealer”. Ukyo Sugishita is a head of this Tokumei Gakari.
As people rumor that anyone who worked under Ukyo eventually leaves the office, he is called “the grave keeper of human resource”. However, there was another reason why people call him in this name.
When Ukyo fist transferred to this section with his secret mission, all of his direct reports died mysteriously. Somehow, the police have sealed this incident from further investigation. Ukyo's present partner is frank, ardent man Kaoru Kameyama. Though they of the type that is completely the opposite don't get along, Ukyo and Kaoru will solve the truth of the cases.

6. Black Butler
In Victorian-era London lives the young earl, Ciel Phantomhive. On the night of his tenth birthday, a fire engulfed his manor house, his parents were murdered, and he was captured by a mysterious organization. After a month of enduring excruciating and humiliating torture, Ciel returns to the Phantomhive household with an enigmatic black-clad butler, Sebastian Michaelis.
To others, it seems that the butler is simply the best at his craft, from anticipating his young master's needs to carrying them out to the best of his inexplicable abilities. Little do they know, Sebastian is actually a demon that has entered into a contract with Ciel, promising to help the boy achieve revenge on those who have wronged him in exchange for his soul.
As the Queen's Watchdog and standing at the top of the British underworld, Ciel solves the crimes plaguing London while waiting for the day he will exact his revenge.

The player assumes the role of 'Hiroshi', a young teenager who enters a haunted mansion with his friends, Takuro, Takeshi and Mika. Shortly after entering the mansion, the doors lock behind them. Hiroshi doubts that the mansion is haunted, but soon finds himself being pursued by an enigmatic blue Oni. Hiroshi must now find a way to save as many of his friends as possible and escape the mansion alive.

3. Kikaider Reboot
Dr. Nobuhiko Kohmyoji was the head of the robot engineering project "ARK Project" to use robots peacefully to solve problems beyond human control. However, Dr. Kohmyoji died in an accident and a year later the project was headed by his rivals, who have begun to use the project for their own personal benefit. To save the original project, Jiro, the android Kikaider, appears to save his creator's children Mitsuko and Masaru who have the key to complete the project.

2. Lupin III
Arsène Lupin III, the grandson of the gentleman thief, Arsène Lupin, is considered the world's greatest thief, known for announcing his intentions to steal valuable objects by sending a calling card to the owners of his desired items. His right-hand man and closest ally is Daisuke Jigen, an expert marksman who can accurately shoot a target in 0.3 seconds.
Although Lupin and Jigen frequently work as a two-man team, they are often joined by Goemon Ishikawa XIII, a master swordsman whose sword can cut anything, or Fujiko Mine, a femme fatale and Lupin's love interest. Although Fujiko usually works together with the others, she occasionally exploits Lupin's interest in her to steal the treasure for herself. Lupin and his gang are constantly chased by Inspector Koichi Zenigata of the ICPO, who has made it his life's work to arrest them, chasing Lupin across the globe.

1. Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Inferno
Kenshin has settled into his new life with Kaoru and his other friends when he is approached with a request from the Meiji government. Makoto Shishio, a former assassin like Kenshin, was betrayed, set on fire and left for dead. He survived, and is now in Kyoto, plotting with his gathered warriors to overthrow the new government. Against Kaoru's wishes, Kenshin reluctantly agrees to go to Kyoto and help keep his country from falling back into civil war.
