I am interested in all things Entertainment, including style, movies, celebrities and TV, action, comedies and sci-fi and even video games.

Tania Raymonde has been in the entertainment business since her childhood. In fact, probably most of us can remember the feisty but sweet friend of Malcolm, in the hit TV show Malcolm in the Middle, named Cynthia Sanders; that would be Tania Raymonde, more than ten years ago.

She has been busy since then.

Obviously very talented and intelligent, she wrote and directed a short film called Cell Division which earned her a certificate of merit at the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival.

After Malcolm in the Middle

After Tania's departure from Malcom in the Middle, she continued to work in the Entertainment industry. Malcolm was on between 2000 and 2002. In 2002, Ms. Raymonde appeared in a movie called Children on their Birthdays and by 2003 she was starring in a sitcom called The O'Keefes. She went on to make appearances in many TV shows, including That's So Raven.

However, likely one of her most memorable roles was that of Alex Rousseau in the mega-hit TV series Lost, which ran from 2006-2010.

She has appeared in several movies, including Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D, in 2013. She has appeared in various television series, including such popular shows as CSI and Cold Case.

Obviously very talented and intelligent, she wrote and directed a short film called Cell Division which earned her a certificate of merit at the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival.

Showing her versatility, and popularity, she has even been in several music videos, notably in Maroon 5's, Won't Go Home Without You.

In 2013, she was cast in the upcoming TV spin-off of Chicago Fire, called Chicago PD.

Currently she is working on her first film as a director called "Little Saigon".

Tania Raymonde as Jodi Arias

Filming for Dirty Little Secret started before the murder trial of Jodi Arias was over. Though, I suppose we'd already gotten enough news and details of the woman accused of murdering her ex-boyfriend, Travis Alexander. The movie focuses on the tumultuous relationship between Jodi Arias and Alexander. So, for the making of this docu-drama, it was unnecessary to have had the verdict of the trial, it was not subject matter of the movie.

Tania said it was difficult to study gruesome pictures of the murder, a murder partly captured on a digital camera by Arias. It was also troubling for Ms. Raymonde to get into the mind of a murderer to capture the character of Jodi Arias.

The movie premiered on June 22, 2013. Lifetime viewers were able to see Tania portray the character of Jodi Arias who has been so high-profile in the news and has been the cause of so much controversy. It was said that she played the character well, with layers of complexity and with sympathy and sensitivity. It's also been said that Ms. Raymonde was believable and likeable which makes it easier to see how Alexander could have been taken in by Arias.

Tania Raymonde Discusses Her Role In Lost

Tania Raymonde has been in the entertainment business for more than ten years; she started working in television and movies as a child and is still a young woman at the age of 25. She has been very busy doing a variety of performances, from movies to TV to music videos, and creating her own films and working behind the scenes too.

Similar to Vanessa Lengies, she has a unique look, which could land her equally unique roles, such as the one of Jodi Arias. She is distinct in look, and experienced in show business; certainly we will see more of her in the future.

Update on Chicago PD

Tania Raymonde had been lined up to star in the Chicago Fire spin-off called Chicago PD, but in December 2013 it had been reported that she left the show, along with Scott Eastwood, for creative reasons. Prior to their departure, Melissa Sagemiller and Kelly Blatz had also left the show. After their departure, Sophia Bush, Patrick Flueger and Jesse Lee Soffer joined the cast.

Update: Tania Raymonde Set to Appear on The Big Bang Theory

All is not lost. Even though Raymonde is no longer going to be starring in Chicago PD, the TV show The Big Bang Theory has picked her up to guest on their Valentine's Day episode in 2014. She will play love interest of the character Raj, who is played by Kunal Nayyar. Her role is that of a veterinarian who takes care of Raj's beloved dog Cinnamon. He can't help but fall in love with the attractive but surly vet. Her role could possiblly be a recurring one. Look for it!

Update: The Guilty Innocent

Tania Raymonde will be in an upcoming thriller set to be released in 2015. It's said to be a Hichcock-style suspenseful film with lots of plot twists and turns, leaving you wondering who's innocent, who's guilty. An under-appreciated assistant in charge of guarding a very expensive necklace is forced to try to figure out who betrayed him and also forced to contend with a criminal team that wants to steal the necklace. Sounds interesting, to say the least, and can't wait to see Tania in a new movie!
