Texas: Top 10 most wanted
Texas Top Ten
There are the top ten fugitives in Texas as of March 29, 2011. They are considered armed and dangerous and no one person should try to apprehend them. (Frankly I think that these guys are funny! I don't commit big crimes because I'm paranoid about my small stuff like: Traffic violations etc.)
Now if you or someone else you know might have information leading to the arrest of one of the fugitives let someone know. There can be big rewards in turning in criminals: up to 50,000 CASH.
Texas Crime Stoppers has many ways to contact them they even have a way to text them your information. Text *DPS plus your Tip* to 274637 (CRIMES) or you can always call the tole free number 1-800-252-8447 (Tips) which is a 24/7 hotline. Remember that the Callers' anonymity is guaranteed by law and you could earn a cash reward for the fugitives.
Enjoy knowing that running that stop sign is not the end of the world :)

He was released under Mandatory Supervision to a halfway house in San Antonio in 2005. Shortly aftewards, he was arrested for Aggravated Assault Causing Serious Bodily Injury and then released. He later escaped from the halfway house and committed a murder in Frio County on January 25, 2005. He has been on the run ever since. Supposedly they are one of the first prison gangs that developed in the United States Prison system. It began in 1957 in California (which seems to be where all gangs start up-personal opinion not a statement of fact.) In 1993 a San Antonio FBI Agent named Jeff Jamar also known as El Eme, often now the game given to the gang on the street is "the most dominant of the prison-spawned gangs operating in Texas". At least that's when you're comparing it to the 10 other large scale gangs that are active in the United States today. In 1992 the supposed membership in prisons was around 700 but in 1998 there were over 1,500. Today the numbers rise as outside of prison La Eme is still an ominous presence who is responsible for around 10% of San Antonio's total homicide rate. Remember there are supposed to be thousands of these homicidal gang members estimated to be operating across the United States.
While both Texas and California prisons house high numbers of the Mexican Mafia from different branches the two states' prison gangs are not officially linked together. While they both operate by the same broad title, the Texas branch calls itself "Mexikanemi." It's supposed to mean Soldier's of Aztlan, or La EMI.
The Huntsville chapter of the gang was actually founded long after the California branch in a Huntsville Prison in 1984 by a gangster named Heriberto "Herbie" Huerta. Herbie was serving three life sentences for conspiring to murder someone, and racketeering when he was given permission from California to establish his own branch in Texas. Herbie also wrote the constitution which is still followed by members to this day. Supposedly the Mexican Mafia's headquarter's are located in San Antonio, but it's members can be found anywhere in the state.
They do have a set a rules which are as follows:
- Membership is for life, meaning "blood in, blood out."
- Every member must be prepared to sacrifice his life or take another's life at any time when required
- Every member shall strive to overcome his weakness to achieve discipline within the MEXIKANEMI brotherhood
- Never let the MEXIKANEMI down
- The sponsoring member is totally responsible for the behavior of the new recruit. If the new recruit turns out to be a traitor, it is the sponsoring member's responsibility to eliminate the recruit
- When disrespected by a stranger or a group, all members of the MEXIKANEMI will unite to destroy the person or the other group completely
- Always maintain a high level of integrity
- Never release the MEXIKANEMI business to others
- Every member has the right to express opinions, ideas, contradictions and constructive criticisms
- Every member has the right to organize, educate, arm, and defend the MEXIKANEMI
- Every member has the right to wear the tattoo of the MEXIKANEMI symbol
- The MEXIKANEMI is a criminal organization and therefore will participate in all aspects of criminal interest for monetary benefits (Constitution of the Mexican Mafia of Texas).

In 1993, he was arrested for Possession of Marijuana, Evading Arrest/Detention, and Misdemeanor Theft. In 1996, he was arrested for DWI, while in May 1997, he was arrested for Misdemeanor Assault. In1978 California made the Texas Syndicate the oldest prison gang in Texas' history. In 2000 there were an estimated 1,000 members in prisons and jails state-wide. More then likely they had a lot more on the outside.
Supposedly according to my source, which is supposed to be 'inside prison' information on gangs, there are around 826 hispanic members who operate across Texas, including specific reports in Coffield which is around 60 miles South West of Tyler. They are also well known at the Allred prison unit outside of Wichita Falls.
However they still supposedly have their headquarters in California, which is odd because they're called the Texas Syndicate not the California Puppet Masters. This is where their national president resides, and their numbers continue to grow and reach into prisons across the United States.
The Texas Syndicate actually start because they wanted to have some sort of protection against the historical "building tenders" in prison, but after they disappeared the syndicate's found other recreational things to do such as: drug trafficking, extortion, prostitution, protection, gambling, and contract murder. Released or parole members who generate money for the Texas Syndicate must surrender a 10% tax of all the money they make toward the gang in prison. It seems like that would totally suck, but who am I to judge right? They're a gang they know what they're doing.
The syndicate has military like structure which is headed by a president and a vice president, and I don't know what you've heard about gangs but these guys are voted in by a general member population. Each unit is controlled by a chairman in prison, this person is the boss. They over see the vice chairman, the captain, lieutenant, sergeant of arms, and a number of the gang's foot soldiers.
When they are high up members in prison, and have worked really really hard to get there they lose their title when they are released and immediately demoted to the level of soldier upon release. That is until they're thrown back into prison where they will be reclassified dependent upon what the Chairman at that prison thinks.
The Texas Syndicate's main rules:
- Be a Texan
- Always remain a member
- Place the Texas Syndicate before anything else
- Understand that the Texas Syndicate is always in the right
- Wear the Texas Syndicate tattoo
- Never let a member down
- Respect other members
- Keep all gang information within the group
Race: American Indian, which is something I can actually see :)
Sex: Male of course
Birfday: September 17, 1950
He's around 5'11 and probably around 180lbs or so. Things you can identify him with are scars on upper left arm, back, left eye, left ear, and right cheek.
He can also be known as Willis Attocknie, Glen Comcheat, Glen Kassanvoid, Owen Komarcheet, Ron Poahway, Glene Poaway, and Wesley Dean Howlingwolf.
He is wanted right now for Parole Violation (Aggravated Rape with a Firearm) and Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.
He has also been caught Drunk Driving, Disturbing the Peace, Vandalism, Vehicle Theft, Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Robbery, and Rape with a Deadly Weapon.
He was last seen in Spring, Texas. If spotted he is worth 7,500 but even though he's not a gang member he is still considered to be armed and very dangerous.
Mr. K's Details
NOTE: May wear eyeglasses.
GWEN KOMAHCHEET was arrested in Oklahoma in 1969 for Creating a Disturbance. He then traveled to California, where he was arrested for Robbery and Taking a Vehicle Without Consent. In 1972, he was again arrested in Oklahoma, this time for First-Degree Rape. In 1975, he was arrested back in California for Drunk Driving, Assault with a Deadly Weapon, and Disturbing the Peace. In 1979, he was arrested in Dallas, Texas, for Sexual Assault with a Deadly Weapon. He received a 75-year sentence but was released on parole in 2004 after serving 24 years. He absconded shortly after his release.
KOMAHCHEET is currently wanted by the Texas Pardons and Parole Board for Parole Violation (Original Offense: Aggravated Rape with a Firearm) and by the Comanche County Sheriff's Office in Oklahoma for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.
Race: Once again they say White, but I'm going to go with hispanic again.
Sex: Male again
Born on October 24, 1979
He's about 5'8 and weighs around 190lbs. He can be identified by Tattoos on right arm, right leg, right calf, chest, and back. Scars on right thigh and face.
He can also be known as Enano, Shorty, Ricardo Recio, Ricardo Sanchez-Rodriguez, Arturo Castoarena-Hernandez.
He's currently wanted for Capital Murder. (Which is also known as Capital homicide which is any homicide that could lead to the death penalty. The word Capital is from the Latin word head, which is how they used to execute people back in the day. Cutting off their heads.)
He is in a gang Barrio Azteca.
He has also Possession of Drugs and Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
He was last seen in San Elizario, Texas.
He is worth 7,500 if you find any information that could lead to an arrest. Contact Crime Stoppers.
The activities of the gang Barrio Azteca were first tracked in the system around 1990. The gang has become one of the more violent prison gangs in Texas, and has spread into the streets of both sides of the boarder, in southwest Texas and even in Southeast New Mexico. Many of the original inmate members came from West Texas around El Paso. Like most other gangs they seem to have a military like system. They are known for smuggling heroin, powered cocaine and marijuana from Mexico both inside and outside their prison cells. Other criminal activities may include but are not limited to prostitution, kidnapping, arson, auto theft, extortion, intimidation of staff, assaults and even murder. (So assuming that they do all these things they also probably kick kittens and sell babies...) They are more well known though for their violent acts and like all other gangs membership is for life.
Pretty much if you're a member of this gang you can't talk to the Texas Syndicate's members, nor La Raza Unida, the Aryan Brotherhood of Texas (Why you would if you're in a hispanic gang I have no idea but okay.), and the Mexican Mafia. (Because if you do they'll take away your cocaine for a week and you'll be demoted to guard duty.)
More details about Zuniga
In 2001, ZUNIGA used a .45 caliber pistol to shoot a victim in the spinal cord, causing the victim to become paralyzed from the waist down. ZUNIGA was subsequently arrested and convicted of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. During his incarceration, ZUNIGA engaged in a fight with another inmate and engaged in sexual misconduct. He was discharged from prison in 2008.
On June 22, 2009, ZUNIGA was involved in a stabbing and shooting incident that occurred in El Paso, Texas, in which ZUNIGA was identified as the shooter. He has not been seen since the incident. The El Paso County Sheriff's Office has issued a warrant for his arrest for Capital Murder.

He was last seen in Austin, Texas but who knows where he is now.
If you see him he is a criminal so turn him in or not, but he's worth 5,000 if you can lead to his arrest.

Okay Okay just to say if I was about to go back to prison I wouldn't want to go either. Just saying.
Javier Cortez Jr.
First let me say how sad he looks in this picture.
Sex: Male obviously
He's around 5'5 around 140lbs. He can be identified by tattoos on upper left arm and upper right arm. He also has a mole on his head. He's wanted for murder right now and his previous crime was Possession of Marijuana. (this does not mean that Marijuana made him kill someone.)
He is in a gang which is called Tango Blast, it reminds me of like an orange citrus drink. Just saying.
He was last seen in Pasadena, Texas and remember he's considered armed and dangerous don't let his sad picture fool you. He is worth $5,000 if you can get him arrested.
Mr. Cortez's details
On April 8, 2010, Javier CORTEZ, JR was involved in a shooting that left one man dead with injuries to his head, abdomen, and legs.
CORTEZ was last seen driving a 1996 Chevrolet Impala, license plate# 210YDL (VIN: 1G1BL52P1TR17635).
CORTEZ is wanted by the Harris County Sheriff's Office for Homicide.
They call themselves Tango Blast and have more then 17,000 people in prisons across Texas. The gang formed in the prisons of Houston, Dallas and Austin, these gang members joined together and vowed to terminate about 3 or 4 gangs out there.
Their symbols include the Houston Astros star, the Dallas Cowboys star, Houstone, 713, the four horsement, 214, Foritos, H-Town, D-Town, A-Town. They have no real ranking structure, and are entirely unorganized. They claim that Houston, Dallas, Ft. Worth, Waco, Austin and West Texas are their territory and they ally themselves with no one at all.
Tango Blast has no real leadership, they did this because the gang's founders didn't want the members to be obligated to their orders other then to protect themselves in times of war. Unlike most gangs they don't shank their foes they use numbers and knock the crap out of their enemies. That is probably why when people are entering the gang they have to go through an initiation beating in order to gain full membership, and are required to get a tattoo of their gang's symbol.
This gang will let you leave if you're willing to get your butt kicked a second time, but at least Tango Blast is going to let you live.
They aren't organized so there is no list of the crimes that they committed outside of prison.
George Felix Deleon
He was born November 16, 1969, he's about 5'8 and weighs about 178lbs. He can be identified by tattoos on back, left wrist, right arm, and left arm; Scars on chest and right forearm. Race: According to them white, but he's hispanic. It's pretty clear.
He was born June 2, 1983 he's around 5'10 and weighs around 190lbs. He can be identified as having a scar on left hand; Pockmarks on face; Tattoos on left hand and left finger. He also may be known as Lee Roy Suarez, or Smokie.

For more information
I got almost all of my information from the Texas Department of Public Safety where the list is always changing. There will always be criminals and there will always be crime of some kind. I do not commit crimes because I'm a complete and total chicken. I wonder how many of the top 10 were actually in gangs and if they had joined the gang before they went to prison or if it was just survival instinct. Anyway, I thought that this was just something interesting.
I learned a lot about gangs in Texas, which was fun. >.>'
