The 10 Best Jennifer Aniston Movies List

Updated on June 14, 2013

We all know Jennifer Aniston as the pretty, spunky and perfect blonde girl-next-door. I am in love with how she was able to break out of the mold that playing a character for 10 years placed her in. Yes, we all loved spoiled, undomestic Rachel Green on Friends, but I have enjoyed many of Aniston's new movies as well. And personally, I'm more of an Aniston fan versus Angelina.

I plan on purchasing a collection of her movies to enjoy with the girlfriends for a fabulous Girls Night In! (My friends are getting quite sick of Sex and the City!)

So without further ado, this is just ONE Person's personal opinion on the Very Best Jennifer Aniston Movies!

Feel free to add your own 2 cents at the end!

10. The Bounty Hunter

Short Plot: Milo Boyd, a bounty hunter is super thrilled when he gets the assignment to track down his ex-wife. But what may seem like an easy job, gets complicated when his ex is in the middle of chasing a murder cover-up. On this chase for their lives, complicated feelings are constantly getting in the way. I thought it was a decent and cute romantic-comedy. Jennifer Aniston at her girl-next-door best.

Other Stars: Gerard Butler

Rated: PG-13

IMDB rating: 5.2/10

9. Marley & Me

Puppy Marley grows into a huge dog, but with all his puppy energy and carelessness. The dog's antics give John good material for his news column. As the couple have kids of their own, Marley continues to give them grief! This was an adorable movie and filled with cute dogs! Perfect family movie.

For uptight Reuben, it's difficult to get Polly to fall for him, especially when things always go wrong! Best for a date night!

6. Rumor Has It

Short Plot: Jennifer Aniston is Sarah, a woman who finds out that her family was the inspiration for the book and movie "The Graduate" -- and that she might be the offspring of the well-documented event. Twisted and funny comedy. For those who loved "The Graduate" or those in a relationship where age means nothing.

5. Office Space

Short Plot: Hilarious nerd-comedy about office workers who hate their jobs and rebel against their boss. Aniston plays a waitress with "flair"! It was a hit indie movie, with great reviews! Watch it with the "boys", they'll love you for it. If you hated Borat, don't watch this movie. It's not higher up because Aniston plays a small part!

4. The Break-Up

At the end of a bad day he rages against God and God appears in human form giving Bruce divine powers. He challenges Bruce to take on this almighty job. One of Aniston's highest grossing films. Hilarious and soon to be a classic.

2. The Switch

Short Plot: This was a super-close tie with number one, because this one almost made me cry in theaters! Aniston is hearing her biological clock ticking, and wants to have a child using modern medicine, without a husband. She chooses this "perfect man" to donate sperm, and is unaware that her best friend (Bateman) put his sperm into the cup instead. Fast forward many years later, and you can image the drama that unfolds! It's deliciously funny and charming and sad all at once! Have tissues on hand. Who to watch with? That ex you've always been in love with.

Other Stars: Jason Bateman

Rated: PG-13

IMDB rating: 5.9/10

1. Derailed

Short Plot: This movie changed Aniston as an actress. She completely broke out of her Rachel Green mold from Friends. Two business executives who are having an affair are being blackmailed. I don't want to really reveal the plot but if you like thrillers or British men, this is a film for you!

Other Stars: Clive Owen

Rated: R

Although I am a huge Jen fan when it comes to her movies, it was so refreshing to see her play a "bad" role in "Derailed". Great list which covers about 80% of my favourite movies that she's played in. Thanks for sharing!

@pmccray: I agree that Aniston is really great at being natural but beautiful, even in her acting. I don't know if she tops Cameron Diaz, but she is one of my favs! Thanks!

@Cogerson: I also LOVE The Switch; It was probably one of her best films EVER. Thanks!

I've said it once and I'll say it again; nothing is more beautiful than an actress who is beautiful AND funny. Anniston tops my list of modern artist along with Bullock, and Carmen Diaz. All are natural beauties blessed with great comedic timing.

Voted up, marked useful and beautiful.
