The 2nd Top Ten Most Beautiful Non-Blonde Actresses

Updated on June 1, 2017

It seems my most popular hubs are those that focus on the most beautiful women. And since I have already published a second round of beautiful blonds, it seems only fair that I do the same with the not-so-fair-haired ladies as well. This group is made up mostly of those I trimmed from the first list with one or two ladies that somehow slipped my mind the first time. Once again, after reviewing my selections, please take a moment to vote in the poll at the bottom and please feel free to leave a comment as well.

The first lady that actually just did not occur to me on my first list was Mia Kirschner. I am not sure how I forgot this raven haired hottie but I tried to make up for it on this list with a couple of excellent photos of this beauty. The other lady I forgot was one of my "older woman" crushes when I was a kid -- the always astonishing Raquel Welch!

As with my first batch of blonds, my non-blond list also had a favorite -- the delectable Zooey Deschanel! It is easy to see why Zooey would come out on top with those incredible blue eyes and the classic beauty common to stars such as Audry Hepburn and Vivien Leigh. When you consider her acting skills along with her skill as a musician, it's no wonder Zooey ended up on top!

Rounding out the top three were Jennifer Connelly in the #2 spot and Alyssa Milano at #3. They were locked into these positions fairly early on and have held steady throughout the life of the post. Neither of these really surprised me but it was a bit unexpected that neither Valerie Bertinelli, who has experienced a career resurgence of late and is as adorable as ever, nor Lucy Liu, who has always done well in "most beautiful woman" rankings, were able to get into the competition.

Leighton Meester

Leighton Meester has been acting for about a dozen years but only really became popular with her portrayal of Blair Waldorf on the smash television series Gossip Girl. She previously made waves as the most popular albeit nearly least important character on NBC's single season sci-fi thriller Surface. Leighton was ranked #48 on Maxim Magazine's Hot 100 of 2008 and scored in the Top 20 on that list in 2009 and 2010. She speaks fluent French, enjoys creative writing and generally appeared as a blond prior to her role on Gossip Girl.

Jennifer Love Hewitt

Jennifer Love Hewitt who once said she "would just love once to be called sexy just because it would make [her] something other than cute" finally got her wish in 2002 when she was ranked not only #7 in FHM's Sexiest Girls of 2002 but also #14 on Rush Magazine's Sexiest Women 2002 list. Since then, Love has made similar lists in magazines such as Stuff and Maxim. But this wasn't anything fans and directors did not already know with the sexy cutie even considered for the controversial lead role in 1997's Lolita. These days the actress is more mature but even more beautiful and sexy than ever.

Kate Beckinsale

Kate Beckinsale began her film career in the early '90s but got her breakthrough role starring opposite Ben Affleck in 2001's Pearl Harbor. From there Kate went on to great success in the Underworld series of films as well as movies such as The Aviator and Van Helsing. It was around this time that Kate's beauty also began to draw attention to her, being named England's most beautiful woman by UK magazine Hello in 2002 and beginning to appear on numerous magazines' "hottest" and "sexiest" lists. Born in London, she made her film debut in an adaption of Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing in 1991 while attending Oxford University.

Michelle Trachtenberg

Michelle Trachtenberg first gained major attention for her role as Dawn Summers on the Buffy the Vampire Slayer television series, but she was already a successful actress by that time. Michelle began her career on television with a couple of minor appearances in guest roles before picking up regular slots on both the soap opera All My Children and the kids show The Adventures of Pete and Pete. Her first major film role was the title role in Harriet the Spy. Her talent was evident early on and has continued to grow as her career has progressed. Most recently she appeared on the short-lived series Mercy and the popular show Gossip Girl and is soon to appear in a new show to be developed by Gossip Girl's producers.

Raquel Welch

When I was a young lad, it was Raquel Welch that first made me realize that girls just might be worth risking a case of the raging cooties for. Fortunately, I managed to get through the years without ever catching those cooties and along the way Raquel was there from time to time to remind me of just how beautiful a woman could be. The first film I saw her in was Kansas City Bomber when it came on television a few years after its theatrical release. From that point on I was a fan. Unfortunately for me, that was about the time she stopped making films for the most part, but I did still have all the gems to discover -- One Million Years B.C., Bandelero!, Bedazzled, and so many more.

With flowing locks of luxurious hair, eyes that seem to hold all the mysteries of seduction, and beauty that has turned many a head, Mila Kunis is not only one of Hollywood's most commonly acknowledged "beautiful people" but also a talented actress whose star is on the rise. She first came to America's attention as Jackie on That '70s Show, but things have really picked up with portrayal of a ballerina in the mega-hit Black Swan.

Mila Kunis

Lynda Carter

Lynda Carter, a former Miss World USA pageant winner, is best known for starring in the show The New Adventures of Wonder Woman in which she appeared as both the Amazing Amazon and her alter ego, Diana Prince. Growing up, I was certainly impressed as a young lad by the way she filled out that Wonder Woman suit! And as a comic book geek, it was a thrill to know she was also a fan and reader of of the comic. Though Lynda is best known for her run as the heroic hottie, she had a number of other television roles and even an occasional appearance on the big screen over the years.

Kristen Kreuk

Staying in the comic book world for a moment, ravishing Kristen Kreuk is best known as Lana Lang in Smallville, the show about the hometown of Superman. The daughter of a Dutch father and Chinese mother, Kristen has an unusual exotic look that is as captivating as it is intriguing. A strong actress, she is also no slouch when it comes to action scenes, starring as the titular star in the film Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li. Certainly Ms. Kreuk is a star to watch in the coming years!

Mia Kirshner

Mia Kirshner is one of those people who are beautiful in many ways. Anyone can easily see her physical beauty as well as recognize the beauty of her artistic talent. But not everyone may be aware of the beauty of her heart and soul. As an example, consider this... In October 2008, Mia published a book called I Live Here which she co-authored with J.B. Mackinnon, Paul Shoebridges and Michael Simons. The book tells the stories of four groups women and children who are refugees from Chechnya, Juárez, Burma and Malawi. Proceeds from the book were donated to Amnesty International. Indeed, Mia is an all around beautiful lady.

Audrey Hepburn

What really needs to be said about Audrey Hepburn? She is simply a legend and a classic beauty against which other women are likely to always be measured. She was nominated for numerous awards and won several Best Actress Awards including an Academy Award and a Golden Globe. Her classic films are numerous -- Roman Holiday, Sabrina, Funny Face, My Fair Lady, etc. And, of course, there was her amazing portrayal of Holly Golightly in Breakfast at Tiffany's. Her dark hair and dark eyes have enchanted millions and will surely captivate millions more. Audrey Hepburn was indeed a special lady.

Kate has awesome hair! But Zooey has such a "zippy" :) personality and Kate, while pretty with cool hair, still she's the kind of girl men don't want to TALK to her, so what's her other qualities that you like thehemu? Men like to talk to girls like Zooey, because she has the aura of "fun person" around her! (and her movies are funnny!!!!) :)

You LEFT OUT ZOOEY??? :( I was totally going to vote for her! I love Jennifer Love Hewitt too, but I guess male views differ from beautiful to cute. Zooey is "CUTE" as so is Jennifer as far as beautiful, Audrey has it down! I love that photo of her by the pink bushes. Now off to find the "I'm a dummy man who left out Zooey in the voting poll" button... ARG, there isn't one! :( Poor Zooey! I'm totally telling on She and him! lol.
