Another Great Festival Line Up - Rockstar Mayhem 2011

Updated on May 11, 2011

Rockstar Festival 2011

The 2011 Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival has a stellar line up this year, and if you are a fan of any of these bands or many of them, perhaps you already have your tickets to see the show at a City near you. Mayhem Festival 2011 will be kicking off July the ninth, at San Bernadino, California. The Rock Star Mayhem Fest is scheduled to play 26 dates across the United States.  If you are Canadian, you might consider heading down to the USA to catch one of these shows, because unfortunately, there are no Canadian dates on this particular tour.  It's too bad they won't hit even the major Canadian centres, such as Halifax, Montreal, Toronto, Winnipeg, Regina, Calgary and Vancouver because those are all cities that have great turn outs to any good concert.

Mayhem Fest Bands

So who are the 2011 Mayhem Fest Bands? The entire line up includes big name acts include Disturbed, Megadeth, Machinehead, Godsmak, Testament, Suicide Silence, Strait Line Stitch, All Shall Perish, In Flames, Trivium, Red Fang, Kindom of Sorrow, Unearth.

There are several stages, including the Main Stage, the Jagermeister stage and the Extreme Stage.  There will be some special guitar picks available, designed just for the festival, as well as the token shirts, and the prices of these shirts are extremely reasonable.

Mayhem Festival 2011 features an expedition of the Rockstar Metal Mulisha Jump Team, a Freestyle Motocross team. The mix of metal and stunts will be insane!

What’s the deal with Mayhem Fest and other Festivals, for that matter?

So many new bands are being brought to the forefront with these festival tours. People will attend a show to see their favorite artist (the “Headliner” or one of the main bands) and then they will discover a band they have never heard of, and find that they really like the music. Many bands become mainstream after they have an opportunity such as this. In addition, fans love this format, because they are getting such a great deal on tickets – huge value for the money. Since the show is sponsored by a big name in the liquor industry, these shows are only for those who have reached the legal drinking age.

In addition, many of the venues are offering for the first time ever, a special opportunity for people to purchase VIP packages. If you are a super serious fan, you might want to purchase a VIP package, but be aware, they can be quite expensive.  The VIP package will get you close to the stage and access to the VIP lounge, a limited edition tour poster and laminate. Purchasing tickets as far in advance as possible of the show you want to attend is the best idea, because these shows always sell out quickly.  Watch for the presale events in your local area, these are usually promoted by your local hard rock radio station.

Are you going to the show?

Please, come back after the show and leave your review! I would love to hear all about your experience at the Mayhem Festival 2011.
