The ABC's of Keanu Reeves

Tomorrow will be Keanu Reeves's natal day and he will turn 48. He is an A-list actor who has been around for three decades. Reeves is often branded as Hollywood's Worst Actor. Often criticized for his deadpan acting, his career has gone through ups and downs. With a box-office resume to boot, Keanu Reeves has won the hearts of film buffs around the world with his memorable commercialized films such as Speed and The Matrix franchise. He also starred in a number of underrated art films such as My Own Private Idaho, Thumbsucker, and A Scanner Darkly. Here is a rundown of his career milestones and personal highlights.

A- Alex Wynter. His other half in Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure and Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey.

B- Beirut. This was his birth place in Lebanon.

C- Charles. This is his second name. He was named Keanu Charles Reeves on Sept 2, 1964.

D- Dracula. The movie where he played Winona Ryder's paramour.

E- Easy to Assemble. A television series he appeared on in 2009.

F- Falco. He played Shane Falco who was a retired football player in The Replacements.

G- Generation Um. An indie film he shot which was never released.

H- Harley Davidson. He gave away 7 Harley Davidson motorcycles to all the stunt men he worked with in The Matrix.

I- Il Mare. The Lake House was a remake of this Korean film.

J- Julian Mercer. This was his character's name in Something's Gotta Give with Jack Nicholson and Diane Keaton.

K- Kathryn Bigelow. She directed his first action movie Point Break.

L- Lead guitarist. He ventured into music where he played bass guitar with his band, Dogstar.

M- Much Ado About Nothing. This was adapted for fim by Kenneth Brannagh where he played the villain.

N- Neo. The protagonist in The Matrix Trilogy who he turned into an iconic character.

O- Octavia Spencer. He fixed Octavia's car who was a budding actress at that time.

P- Platoon. Charlie Sheen's role was first offered to him but he turned it down.

Q- Quote from Sweet November. "Try to be wrong once in a while, it will do my ego good."

R- Rush Rush. He appeared on Paula Abdul's video as her love interest.

S- Speed. The movie that made him a household name and cemented his status as an action star.

T- Teen Choice Award. He won a TCA for Best Onscreen Kiss with Sandra Bullock.

U- Under the Influence. A TV movie that he did with Andy Grififth.

V- Virgo. His zodiac sign.

W- Wachowski Brothers. They offered him the role of Neo after Leonardo Di Caprio, Brad Pitt, and Will Smith refused.

X- "Xes". His "xes" include filmmaker Sofia Coppola, actresses Claire Forlani and Lynn Collins.

Y- Youngblood. His first movie that stars Rob Lowe as a hockey player.

Z- Zion. The only city on Earth inhabited by humans. This is the place where Neo and company launched an attack against the machines.
