The Bold and the Beautiful: Katie Gets Even with Bill for Sleeping with Brooke

Updated on May 3, 2014

Taylor Exposes Bill and Brooke's Affair

After playing detective and breaking into another doctor's files, Taylor learned that Brooke recently suffered a miscarriage. Putting two and two together Taylor realized that Brooke had been pregnant with Bill Spencer's baby!

Meanwhile Brooke, while getting over the loss of her baby, had thought that her secret – that she’d slept with her sister’s husband – was now safe.

Taylor went on a Brooke Logan tirade. Taylor was determined to expose Bill and Brooke’s affair thereby letting everyone know that the warnings she had been heeding about Bill and Brooke’s relationship were correct.

At Brooke’s Birthday Party….

Taylor was invited to Brooke’s birthday celebration, hosted at Katie’s home, by Katie, as Eric Forrester’s plus 1. Taylor took that opportunity to announce to Katie and all the assembled guests that not only did Bill and Brooke sleep together, betraying Katie, but that Brooke had just lost Bill’s baby.

Taylor may have delivered the news to Katie that Bill, Katie’s husband, slept with Brooke, Katie’s sister, in a most unprofessional manner (Taylor was Katie’s psychiatrist), but Katie’s response to Bill and Brooke’s betrayal was on the money.

Katie Reacts to Her Sister Sleeping With Her Husband

After clearing the guests from her home where Katie had been hosting her sister’s birthday party, the first thing out of Katie’s mouth was to silence Bill and Brooke.
“Not one word.” Katie fumed. “If either of you say one word about this being my fault, I swear I will scream!” Katie told her sister and husband.

Katie of course was referring to Bill and Brooke’s justification for their affair.

Bill Defends Himself

Bill and Brooke had been using Katie pushing Bill and Brooke together whilst suffering from post partum depression, and again when Bill spent the night at Brooke’s house as the rationalization for them giving in to their feelings.

Bill tried to tell his wife that there were no innocents in this situation. That she too had played a part in what had happened, by once again walking out on him and going so far as to tell him that Brooke was better for him that Katie could ever be.

Katie wasn’t hearing it though. She took off her wedding rings again to illustrate her point. Just because her rings came off her finger didn’t mean Bill was a free man. And Katie’s words and actions were not powerful enough to make him jump into bed with her sister, a furious Katie told her cheating husband.

Her post partum depression was brutal and ugly but how dare he use it as an excuse. How dare he use it against her, Katie railed. She was sick.

Bill Asks Katie to Forgive Him

Bill asked that Katie forgive him. He wasn’t proud of what happened but Bill also didn’t think it was completely incomprehensible. Say you’ll forgive me, Bill asked of Katie at the same time insisting that Katie take some responsibility for what happened between him and Brooke.

Katie, held her ground however and responded instead by throwing Bill out of their home and Brooke out of her life.

But Katie was too angry to even consider forgiving Bill or Brooke. That didn’t stop Bill from trying to win over his wife. Despite his wife learning that he'd slept with her sister and conceived a child with her, Bill Spencer thought that Katie, his wife, would do as she'd done before. That she would forgive him.

So Bill did what he has done countless times before. Bought Katie something sparkly, made a pretty speech about how repentant he was, and Katie would roll over and forgive him.

Divorce Settlement

Katie didn’t however. Instead she served her husband with divorce papers. Justin, Bill’s leagle eagle buddy, after reviewing the divorce papers advised Bill to sign before Katie changed her mind and wanted more in the settlement.

Bill signed the documents giving Katie their mansion home and 1% of Spencer Publications stock leaving Bill with a 49% stake in the company and Bill’s sister, Karen, with 50% ownership.

As soon as the papers were singed, Katie brought Karen into Bill’s office. Katie was out for a bit of vengeance and used her divorce settlement to execute it.

How do you rate Katie's Revenge on Bill?

5 out of 5 stars from 1 rating of Katies Revenge

Katie hit Dollar Bill Spencer where it hurts.

After his newly found obsession with family, Dollar Bill loves nothing more than his company and making money.

Bill destroyed his family all on his own, but katie took away the second most important thing to him - his precious company.

Will Brooke be enough to keep Bill happy?

Katie’s revenge…

Karen delivered Bill some news. With Katie’s 1% of the company and her own 50% holding, Karen was now majority shareholder and she was about to make some changes. Karen appointed Katie as CEO of Spencer Publications – the job that Bill had until that moment held.

In her first act as CEO of Spencer Publications Katie turned to Bill and told him “You’re fired”.
