The Cheater's Waltz
The Cheater's Waltz

Verse 1:
You never mention him, I never speak of her
as we dance around the truth weighing every word
of a love like a fire and we still feel the burn
while you were married to him and I was married to her.
Verse 2:
Whatever made us think we could ever walk away
from forbidden love and the game we loved to play.
now should we risk it all for one last taste of sin,
while I'm still married to her and you're still married to him.
Bridge:
To hold you in my arms and love you all night long
to give in to this feeling before the chance is gone
and when all is said and done, the guilt is all we share
you're still married to him and I'm still married to her.
Verse 3:
The next time that we meet if it should be by chance
weighing every word while around the truth we dance
will we risk it all for one last taste of sin
While I'm still married to her and you're still married to him
I'm still married to her and you're still married to him
