Twenty Talented and Gorgeous Actresses

Updated on November 12, 2014

Emma Watson

Everyone's favorite girl next door. Staying busy after Harry Potter with appearances in This is the End (2013) and Noah (2014).

Anna Kendrick

Wildly popular after starring in hits like Up in the Air (2009) and Pitch Perfect (2012). Listed in roles in 10 films in 2014 and 2015. Gorgeous, talented, and hard working.

Emma Stone

After some smaller roles, hit it big with movies Zombieland (2009) and Easy A (2010). Lip Sync off with Jimmy Fallon only helped her popularity.

Hayden Panettiere

After breaking through with her role as cheerleader Claire Bennet on Heroes (2006-2010), has continued her success on television in Nashville (2012-2014).

Eva Green

After a few breakout roles (Kingdom of Heaven, 2005 and Casino Royale, 2006), bounced around until starring in the sequel to 300 in 2014.

Keira Knightley

Talk about an actress who gets good roles and excels in them. Half of her charm is in her good looks, half in how she endears herself with her excellent acting. From Pirates of the Caribbean (2003) to Domino (2005) to Love Actually (2003), she's proven an ability to cross genres and still have success.

Emily Blunt

Another actress who has gotten red-hot lately with her choice of good roles. From Looper (2012) to The Five-Year Engagement (2012), she has connected with her fans with her wittily humorous roles and that accent certainly doesn't hurt.

Anne Hathaway

Established herself with a string of hits (Brokeback Mountain, 2005; Devil Wears Prada 2006; Get Smart 2008), then took some risks with Alice in Wonderland (2008) and Les Miserables (2012). Another actress who has really connected well with fans with her style almost being a quality of its own.

Reece Witherspoon

Talk about an actress who went from cute to downright sultry. From taking roles as the innocent young girl in Fear (1996) and Cruel Intentions (1999), she found her footing with more adult roles in Sweet Home Alabama (2002) and Walk The Line (2005). Proving she can still smolder on the big screen in 2012's This Means War, Miss Witherspoon has only gotten better with age.

Jennifer Love Hewitt

She was the Queen of dorky teenage romantic comedies at the end of the 1990s (Trojan War and Can't Hardly Wait). She ventured into the teenage horror genre before keeping it light again with The Tuxedo (2002). In and out of television series, The Client List (2010, 2012-2013) gave us the edgier side.

Jennifer Lawrence

Talented, gorgeous, self-depricating. What's not to love about Miss Lawrence? Plus, with that skill with a bow, she'd be handy if the zombie apocalypse ever breaks out. What an unbelievable run she's had though. Starting with Winter's Bone (2010) and concluding with American Hustle (2013). She's on a roll.

Kate Beckinsale

Quite literally the single most photogenic woman on the planet. In searching for the right photos to use, there were at least two dozen options that would have been great. Amazing smile, extremely talented - and that accent. The type of woman that becomes a 13 on the 1-10 scale. Really diverse actress ranging from Pearl Harbor (2001) to Vacancy (2007) to everyone's favorite - Serendipity (2001).

Charlize Theron

Daring, gorgeous, talented. Again, another beauty that's style is so exquisite. Just some amazing choices for roles: Men of Honor (2000), Monster (2003), The Italian Job (2003), Legend of Bagger Vance (2000).

Scarlett Johansson

Classic good looks, great actress. Another woman who has great style and picks amazing roles and characters. From Her (2013) to the Prestige (2006), she takes roles help make great movies. Another actress where you wish you could fit more than just two photos in this story.

Cameron Diaz

Those eyes. Need we say more? Alright, if you're not convinced, then there's always that sense of humor that she brings with her to many of her roles. From The Holiday (2006) to There's Something About Mary (1998), Miss Diaz picks roles that accentuate her humorous side. She also proved she has some acting chops in movies such as Gangs of New York (2002), Vanilla Sky (2001), and Any Given Sunday (1999).

Penelope Cruz

Gorgeous, but true to her roots. Does movies to promote her background and culture while also remaining very much in the mainstream. From Sahara (2005) to Volver (2006), she does great work. Another actress with an amazing accent and stunning classic looks.

Jessica Biel

The eyes have it. Classic beauty and majorly photogenic. Good run of movies starting with The Illusionist (2006). Very entertaining opposite Bradley Cooper in the A-Team (2010).

Eva Mendes

Another incredibly stylish and beautiful woman. Acting opposite Denzel in Out of Time (2003) put her on the map and then with Will Smith in 2005's Hitch solidified her as a bankable female starlet. An incredible catalog of pictures to choose from, she epitomizes sexiness.

Olivia Wilde

Not nearly the acting accolades as many others on this list, but still the classic beauty. Highly photogenic and stunning eyes. Building a nice portfolio of movies between Rush (2013), In Time (2011), and Tron: Legacy (2010).

Angelina Jolie

Style, beauty, talent, risk-taking - she's got it all. Incredibly photogenic and accomplished as an actress. Both her and Mr. Pitt do excellent work and are undervalued as actors. From some interesting roles in Pushing Tin (1999), The Bone Collector (1999), and Girl, Interrupted (1999), her career took off. Still one of our favorite roles was her in Hackers (1995).

Who would you have made sure was on the list?

Of course talented and gorgeous actresses live a different life style from us. Firstly they obviously are in (or have) relationships, then there is the issues of their personal safety due to overzealous fans. I'll just settle to be entertained by them.

Waiting for the inimitable 'Zoella' to grace our screens. Fascinating young lady with the talents to succeed in her calling.

I'd be willing to comment individualy on each of the actresses named here. So let us start with Emma Watson. Here we have beauty, brains and an inspiration for all women for her determination as the leader of the new feminist movement. From a male perspective it seems that having achieved great leaps and bounds in their emancipation of early last century, the Women's Liberation movement of the 1970's and then of course the successive new wave feminism.

Class actress Barbara Stanwyck was a household name in the 50's & 60's however having seen her on film in her younger days little wonder she was well on her way to Hollywood stardom.

Must mention here the gorgious actress Ann Francis who had a successful Broadway and Hollywood career. Probably the TV detective series Honey West being her triumph prior to later performances. Ms Francis was a honey blonde (pun not intended) with iridecsent blue eyes and ruby red lips accentuated by a birthmark/beauty spot that simply added to her allure. Ann Francis has a star on the Hollywood walk of fame. Sadly Anne passed away at an early age. Repose in peace Ann.

These are definitely some gorgeous women. Jessica Biel is my favorite. Then Kate Beckinsale. Then Penelope Cruz. Then Jennifer Love Hewitt. Then Emma Watson. And Scarlett. But they're all gorgeous.
