The Most Popular Bollywood Actresses of 2009 , Part 2
Indian Actresses Sonam Kapoor, Ayesha Takia, Amrita Rao and more.
In The Most Popular Bollywood Actresses of 2009, there were a few actresses that I gave honorable mention to because they came so close to cracking the top ten spot.
But why stop at 10?
There are more than enough beautiful Bollywood stars to keep going.
So here are the next 10 ladies, their films for 2009, and their upcoming Bollywood films in 2010.
11. Ameesha Patel
Even though the beautiful Ameesha Patel took 2009 off, she was popular enough to come in at number eleven on the list.
In 2010 you can expect to see her in the comedy thriller Run Bhola Run (with Govinda, Tusshar Kapoor, Celina Jaitley, Upen Patel and Aryan Vaid) and the action comedy Chatur Singh Two Star (with Sanjay Dutt).
Interestingly, Chatur Singh Two Star is based on The Pink Panther movie series.
In the reboot of the Pink Panther series, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan appeared in The Pink Panther 2.
12. Amrita Rao
Indian model and Bollywood actress Amrita Rao appeared in three movies in 2009, the sports film Victory (with Harman Baweja and Anupam Kher), the comedy Short Kut: The Con is On (with Akshaye Khanna and Arshad Warsi) and Life Partner (with Govinda, Genelia D'Souza, Fardeen Khan, Tusshar Kapoor and Prachi Desai).
She has three films set so far for 2010, The Legend Of Kunal, Hum Aapke Hai Kaun 2 and Hook Ya Crook.
In 2009, Amrita won the Stardust Best Actress Award for the film, Welcome to Sajjanpur.

13. Ayesha Takia
Ayesha Takia only had two films in 2009.
The thriller 8 x 10 Tasveer (with Akshay Kumar, Sharmila Tagore, Javed Jaffrey, Anant Mahadevan, Girish Karnad, Benjamin Gilani, Rushad Rana, Andrea Tully, and Pia Shah) and Wanted (one of the biggest Bollywood fims of 2009, with Salman Khan).
But she has six movies planned for 2010, Paathshala, Ab Dilli Door Nahin (an animated film), Aap Ke Liye Hum, Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai, Naughty @ Forty and Bemisaal
14. Riya Sen
Riya pretty much took 2009 off with only one film, the comedy Paying Guests, released.
But she will be making up for that in 2010 with five films coming out, Rokda, Love Game, The Bachelor, Benoo And Babloo and Kya Fool Hain Hum.
You can keep up with Riya at her Twitter account here:
15. Sonam Kapoor
The beautiful Sonam Kapoor also had a slow year, with only Delhi-6 (with Abhishek Bachchan, Om Puri, Waheeda Rahman, Rishi Kapoor, Atul Kulkarni, Deepak Dobriyal and Divya Duttabeing) released.
Even though the film got a mixed reception from critics, Sonam was praised for her performance.
But making up for that, she already has four movies set for 2010, Mirza Sahibaan, Come On Pappu, I Hate Love Stories and Ayesha.

16. Lara Dutta
Former Miss Universe 2000 Lara Dutta appeared in a few films in 2009, Billu Barber, Satyameva Jeyathe, Do Knot Disturb and Blue (one of the most expensive Bollywood films ever made).
Lara has four movies set for 2010, Aur Devdas, House Full, Milte Hain and Banda Yeh Bindaas Hai.

17. Sherlyn Chopra
2009 was also pretty dead for Sherlyn Chopra as far as movies go.
She only had one movie come out, a supporting role in Dil Bole Hadippa!. But she did release an album in 2009, Dard-e-sherlyn.
And on the third season of the reality show Bigg Boss, Sherlyn was one of the housemates. She was evicted on Week 4.
I can't find any movies in production for her in 2010.
But you can follow Sherlyn at her Twitter account here:
18. Shweta Tiwari
Shweta Tiwari has appeared in over twenty TV shows, five films and several plays, but she has turned her attention to producing now.
But she is still popular enough to come in at number 18.
19. Soha Ali Khan
Beautiful Indian actress Soha Ali Khan had several films in 2009, Dhoondte Reh Jaaoge, Airport, 99 (a critical and commercial success) and Tum Mile.
And she doesn't show any signs of slowing down with, Tera Kya Hoga Johnny?, The Accident, Bubblegum, Life Goes On and Chaurahen - Crossroads all scheduled for 2010.
20. Konkona Sen Sharma
And finally at number 20 is Konkona Sen Sharma.
She was pretty busy in 2009 with The President Is Coming, Luck by Chance and Wake up Sid coming out.
But in 2010, Konkona is really hitting high gear with Bubblegum, Gulel, Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge, Iti Mrinalini, Sunglass, Right or Wrong, Mirch, Amavas, Meridian and 8 either being released, or in production.
