The Young and the Restless: Who Killed Austin?
Sharon gave an interview in Austin's documentary revealing a long kept secret about her ex-husband, Nick. Realizing she made a mistake, Sharon tried to get Austin to delete the footage to no avail.
With a huge amount of evidence stacking up against her, Sharon's the main suspect in the investigation and it appears as if she's going to prison. But viewers know she’s innocent and is just a scapegoat since the killer is still on the prowl.
Until the real killer’s caught, Sharon is left to defend herself against everybody who’s accusing her of murder.
Austin’s documentary featured a clip of “Jack” meeting someone in the park. Courtney decided to investigate and she logged into the police surveillance video, she saw something so shocking that it led her to becoming the killer’s next victim. Since the Jack impersonator is working with Victor, he’s the one who probably killed Austin to cover up the expose on The Newmans, then when it looked like Courtney was going to blow his cover he killed her too. To please his boss, doppelganger Jack also framed Sharon for the murder, thus ridding her of the family once and for all.
He returned to town the night of Austin’s murder and has been acting suspiciously ever since. First he was caught in a lie, he’d actually been in town for weeks instead of coming back Valentine’s night like he claimed. Then he kept a towel with Austin’s blood on it, which he said came from a fight the two had earlier over Austin’s affair with Abby. He’s been quick to defend himself and defect attention away from him leading many to believe he’s hiding something.
With Summer back in his arms, Kyle would do anything to keep someone from interfering in their relationship, even if it means murdering her husband and framing someone else.
