The family called Kardashian

Amanda 25, has been writing since she was in the 8th grade. Even winning some awards for her work.

Out of hand Kardashian Clan

After averaging a cool 3.19 million viewers who watched the season 12 premiere of Keeping up with the Kardashians, It is no wonder they are still in the media. With all this drama how could it not make a great reality tv show. But is this a little much? getting a little old? Every time i see a photo on social media, it seems they wear less and less clothes in every picture. In some ways i feel sorry for them. They have overcome so much in there busy lifes, but it seems they like the upbeat drama, "look at me" aspect of it all. Then there was the bombshell. Bru-- i mean Caitlyn Jenner, announced he wanted to become a she. Which probably should have been a little more private? How this generation is growing up, i think we need a little less Kardashian.

First impressions are lasting impressions

The affect this family has in today's society is huge. Young tweens trying to achieve the Kardashian look, because they do not think they are beautiful without make-up, or fish lips. It might need to be explained to some young girls, and maybe adults? That this is reality TV, yes, but it is photoshopped and cropped, deleted scenes and added scenes, for our viewing pleasure and entertainment purposes only. It is also, fake boobs, fake lashes, hair extensions, 1 pound make-up, 2 pounds spray tan; nobody on this earth is born perfect. Adding fuel to the fire, the media does not help to diffuse the Kardashian full time talk either. That is where most of the gossip starts, and never ends.

Celebrity Obsession is real

Should you be worried?

Would you let your daughter(s) watch "Keeping up with the Kardashians"?

I watch this show because everyone is so beautiful and it's an interesting group of new personalities. When Bruce turned to Caitlin, I learned what it's like to be transgender, and how the feeling never leaves even when you're old. Might as well let people be who they are. I also like how the mom handled it. But of course, as you know, it's all scripted and I think Cory is just being paid for the show so the mom can look like she's moving on. But after the Kardashians, I don't like looking at other shows like WAGS and LA clippers because I figure it's more of the same. Anyway, that's why I watch them, but it's not like my life will die if I miss an episode, or like I know what time it's on and gotta catch it. Just so happens I work at home and use the TV for distraction, and leave it on when the Kardashians are on.

If it was not the Kardashian's, the tweens and teens would be finding someone else to idolize. I think it invites the conversation about what is real with young people.
