The Jungle Book 2016 Review

Hollywood is working like its on it’s writer on strike, its hard to find original script this days or good ones.

After Disney turned Alice In Wonderland and Cinderella to real life movie its time to have a take on The Jungle Book.

The movie uses Life of Pi Technics with a green screen and just one actor, the result is not a bad movie nor its a good movie, the 2016 version directed by John Favro director of “Iron Man” does is best to bring the animated movie to life.

The cgi or top noch, the movie should be watch on IMAX or 3D but in the end of the day it has problems with pacing and some of the part of the movies are just lack of life (maybe 2 much green screen).

The best part of the movie is when Mowgly meets King Loui voiced by Christopher Walken who does an amazing job, the rest of the cast do their best but they just don’t do the voice over good enough.

The only real actor in the movie the young Neel Sethi works wonders with the blue screen and succeeded to out do old timers like Bill Murray or Idris Elba.

  1. Not even scripit.
  2. Voice acting of some of the actor lacks connection to the animation.
  3. Shallow character makes the audiance not care about them.

  1. Amazing CGI, the animals never looked so alive.
  2. Neel Sethi as Mowgly does an amazing job
  3. Walken as King Loui gives the best part of the movie.

In the end The Jungle Book is too much green screen not enough life.

We give it 3 out of 5.
