Tonic Immobility

Updated on August 20, 2012

Tonic Immobility is an original Rock/Alternative Rock band from the Fayetteville, NC area. The band consists of 5 members: Dustin Day (Vocals), Connor Day (Guitar), Brody Day (Bass), Ron Marsh (Drums), and Rodney Johnson (Keyboard). They have been compared to such bands as: Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sublime, Nirvana, and Weezer. During their live shows they often do covers of these bands in addition to their original music. They have produced and released one album: Catatonic Trance.

Tonic Immobility can often be found playing around town in Fayetteville, Nc at such spots as: The Rock Shop Music Hall, Mellow Mushroom, Busters Bar and Grill, The Backdoor, and The Crow's Nest. They have also recently broke into the Raleigh scene, playing at such places as Deep South the bar, and The Pourhouse.

If you get a chance to see them live, I highly recommend it. We have attended several shows and have not been disappointed yet. These boys know how to work a crowd and get the energy flowing. They are also very friendly and not afraid to come out and mingle with their fans before or after their set.

This is definitely a band to watch!
