With the media the way it is most horror movies are getting more disgusting. If you are not into horror movies here are some ones that you might want to avoid.

1) The Texas Chainsaw Massacre(2003)

2) The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Begining (2006)

3) Any of the Wrong Turn movies

4) Any of the Saw Movies

5) Rob Zombie's Halloween & Halloween 2

6) Chainletter

7) The Hills Have Eyes (2006) & The Hills Have Eyes 2 (2007)

8) Any of the Hostel movies

9) The Strangers

10) Black Christmas (2006)

The horror movies that are out now are very sick. So if you like horror movies but don't like gore go to the older horror movies that are now avaliable on AMC until Halloween. There are also suspense movies which might have one or two scnenes you won't like but they will still keep you on the edge of your seat.

      I've seen a few of those, including Saw and some of the Rob Zombie ones, as well as the 2nd Chainsaw massacre. I agree that they are truly awful. I think they are too close to reality to be entertaining to anyone who is actually familiar with reality. I don't like movies about psychos, stalkers, and misogynistic killers - that's too much real life. The point of entertainment is to escape reality. I like vampires and more psychological elements in my horror.
