1- 1920 (2008)
A devotee of Bhagwan Shri Hanuman, Arjun Singh Rathod is in love with Lisa, a Christian, who was sired by an Indian mother and Caucasian father, runs into problems with his father, who wants him to marry a Hindu. He decides to break all ties with his family, both turn atheist, get married, and re-locate to live in 1920s Bombay. The duo then re-locate to renovate a mansion in Palanpur. Shortly after their arrival Lisa suspects that there is something odd about a particular room in the mansion but Arjun dismisses this. He will soon regret this, as well of forsaking their respective religions, after he finds Lisa possessed by what appears to be a demonic and seemingly invincible male entity.

He's very good to watch whether it be in a comedy role or a more serious role. This brings out the best of both these roles from Akshay.

The film revolves around a haunted house where an infamous MMS is shot on a girl called Ragini which goes viral. the girl kills her boyfriend and claims that a witch had killed him. She ends up in a mental asylum. Later a film is planned based on the story, the same haunted house being the location of the film. Sunny Leone is cast to play the role or Ragini. Sunny goes to meet Ragini to understand her role better. But the meeting turns out violent. On one hand Ragini's doctor tries to solve the mystery and on the other hand shooting starts with unexplainable events. Junior artists get killed one by one. At last the scriptwriter Satya and Dr. Dutta have to fight the ghost to stay alive and save Sunny.

Then the film goes in flashback when he was in Bombay. A wealthy man Mr. Wadia (Vikram Bhatt) discovers Ayush's incredible talents and asks him to take care of his mansion Wadia Manor in York in return of which he would pay for Ayush's educational expenses. Ayush is overjoyed to hear this and heads towards his journey to the mansion. Ayush is warmly received by the both the housekeeper and the caretaker of the house. Ayush is even more delighted to enter the York College of Music.Three months later Ayush is doing some paperwork when he is hit with an onslaught of paranormal activities. Closed doors open by themselves, lights start flickering. Ayush sees a white light beckoning him to come closer but he is always stopped by a women's scream. He encounters a message written with dried blood in a room. He enlist help of Rose (Zareen Khan) a fellow student at the college who has a second sight. As both investigate they realize the secrets that they both have kept individually about events of the preceding three months have more consequences and they both might have a deeper connection with the current hauntings than they can imagine. Ayush informs her that he can hear voices of a machine, And he can see a white light calling to him but as soon as he goes near he hears a scream of a woman which prevents him from touching the light.
