Top 10 Celebrity Fashion Dos and Don'ts

Updated on June 29, 2012

We love to follow the celebrities and all of their fashion dos and don’ts. Even the best dressed celebrities have their fashion faux pas moments! Some of them truly make me want to cringe. Without further due, here are the Top 10 Celebrity Fashion Dos and Don'ts.

1. Jennifer Lopez – DON’T

Hot pink is in and I’ll welcome the color with open arms, but when you put on a long sleeve, long hot pink dress, I’m sorry I can’t hang out with you. It’s unfortunate because JLo is gorgeous and we all love her moves on the dance for. In this case, I’d appreciate if she just danced right out of the party.

2. Rihanna – DO

Rihanna is notorious for her sexy wardrobe and though sometimes I think she could cover it up, this dress is perfect sexy-do. The fabric is fabulous and the deep plunge is very flattering. I also have to give kudos to her for keeping the slit at a modest length. Sometimes we enjoy leaving things to the imagination, Rihanna!

3. Katy Perry – DON’T

I’m all for the shock factor in dying your hair blue, and I actually enjoy the shade she chose. But honey, for Pete’s sake, retouch your roots! I can’t bear to look at them for another minute. It really ruins how great of a job her color stylist did with the color.

4. Beyonce – DO (duh)

Beyonce can do no wrong in my book, and her classic beehive hair-do just adds to this list of things I love about her. The ‘do and the dress combined make her look like quite the lady, so we are considering the entire outfit a DO.

5. Brad Pitt – DON’T

Since Brad was in Thelma and Louise he’s been considered a heart throb. And over the years he’s validated the ‘fine with wine’ phrase everyone says about handsome older men. Unfortunately, things have changed because this beard made me gag and my long standing crush on Brad has finally come to an end. Take a shower, dude.

6. Michelle Williams – DON’T

I can respect dreaming that you were a princess every now and then. I can even understand dressing up as one with your friends in the privacy of someone’s home. However, I cannot approve of looking like a wrapped princess present at a movie premiere. In Paris, no less! I just can’t.

7. Lady Gaga – DON’T (shocker)

To each his own, I know. But really? Did she really have to get a unicorn tattooed on her thigh that reads “Born This Way”? At least the unicorn is famous now.

8. Kourtney Kardashian – DO

I am willing to admit that the Kardashians are a guilty pleasure of mine. Mostly because I can’t get enough of their amazing style. Kourtney’s braided hair choice is a perfect example of why I love them. She looks sophisticated while keeping her hair ‘do fun instead of serious.

9. Blake Lively – always a DO

I love Blake (or do I love Serena?). Her style is impeccable and let’s face it: She defines blonde bombshell. She literally is that girl that goes shopping with Christian Louboutin (true story). Sigh.

10. Sarah Jessica Parker– DO

SJP is known for considering clothes walking art, and I must admit she wears ‘art’ well. She looks gorgeous in this white outfit with lace embellishments. Work that camera, girl!
