Beautiful as a famous young songstress in France, she was later known in America as an actress. She portrayed the communications officer Uhura of Star Trek The Original Series.
Nichelle, who was named Grace at birth, is also an author of the Saturn's Child science fiction novel series.
She is beautiful in word and actions as well as in appearance during her senior years as well as during her youth. She wrote an autobiography that included some surprising material from her Star Trek® years.
I have met this celebrity and role model her at conventions, where she has helped recruit minorities and women for NASA. She is fantastic.
Please enjoy her newest Star Trek film featured below, Of Gods and Men.

- I Met Grace - A Black Diamond
This entertainer nearly lost the chance to touch the lives of millions globally, because she was almost murdered before she was born - by Al Capone.

This particular actress is a favorite of science fiction fans around the world, ever since seeing her work in Star Wars as Queen Amidala, wearing the unique clothing, makeup, and hairstyles of the character.
Lovely as herself, as CatWoman, and even lovelier in her pregnancy photos seen often now in the news.
Ms. Berry's work on the TV series Extant in 2014 and 2015 is better than some high budget theater films.
She will surely remain a star for long to come.
Lena - Stormy Weather & If You Believe

Ms. Lena Horne is another great songstress lovely in youth and in later years.
From her role in Cabin in the Sky to several future more substantial roles in classic films of the Golden Age of TV and Movies to her classic rendition of the number Stormy Weather, she is a beauty for the ages.
Beautiful her whole life, apparently, this woman is a talented and well known actress, singer and stage director.
Excellent in two TV series with Bill Cosby and a star on Broadway.
Exotic looking even in the TV series Law and Order:Special Victims Unit, becoming the head of the SVU division in the series. She is an activist and advocate against violence to women and minorities.
She is the daughter of actress Jane Mansfield and body builder Mickey Hargitay.

Beautiful and blond, she made many B-level movies, but had studied physics at Southern Methodist University.
She played the violin beautifully as well and had more potential than she was able to access, dying in an automobile crash at the age of 34.
Strikingly beautiful on television newscasts - specifically "America's News Headquarters with Uma Pemmaraju" for the Fox News. I'd like to see her on other networks as well.
In my opinion, more beautiful than Britney Spears or Christina Aguilara.
And she can dance -- Hips don't lie (One of her popular songs).
Ms. Claudette Colbert was a famous film star of the 1930s and 1940s who continued to act and model well into her 70s.
This actrerss did two of the many "nude-except-for-a-mink-coat" photo layouts done by famous women for BlackGlamma Mink her 20s and again in her 70s and you could not tell the difference.

Not Airbrushed Or PhotoShopped
Artists and photographers found it much more difficult to retouch photos in the antique 1970s magazines than it is with us today, so Ms. Colbert looked amazingly good, even in her 70s.
BlackGlamma still does such fur ads, with younger celebrities, so look for them.
The series was begun during an era when wearing fur signaled high social status and wealth. Today, stars like Janet Jackson and others are posing in mink.
Beauty In The Comics
Honorary Mention: Octobriana.
This figure was a comics heroine of the 1914 October Revolution in Russia. Her look has changed for the 21st century, but I think the image of her in an antique 1960s edition I have seen is dazzling! The image to the right is a more modern issue.
Octobriana! Queen of the Revolution.
I began reading Octobirana after our Russian teacher sneaked in illegal copies of Pravda during the Cold War.
Film Themes: Octobriana & The Finger of Lenin
