The Buccaneers: The story of four girls of different backgrounds and positions growing up together in all circumstances and marriages in the best of times and the worst of times.
Jayne Eyre: I prefer the older versions as they are more accurate and heartfelt. This love story though heartbreaking, is timeless. A governess and her master cannot deny their love.
Tuck Everlasting: A lighthearted romance on the surface which will leave your heart in pieces and your mind pondering. Is love sweeter for a season or an eternity.
A Room with a View: A summer holiday turns into a confusing, anticipated, heartbreaking relationship.
Anne of Green Gables: A coming of age classic of an outspoken orphan turned into and educated promising woman.
Berkeley Square: One of the best mini series dramas I have seen thus far. Do not let the appearance of dull nannies defer you. There are plot twists along the way.
Becoming Jane: Another one of my favourites with Anne Hathaway in which another impossible and devastating yet inspiring romance occurs.
Road to Avonlea: Another coming of age series including some characters from Anne of Green Gables. It follows the lives of the community of Avonlea and the different circumstances that come along their path.
The Girl: For once there is a happily ever after. Though circumstances seem grim for "the girl", the tides soon turn as love blossoms and no man can keep them apart.
Christy: An uplifting movies series with a variety of tales to tell. An ambitious school teacher takes on all that comes in her path and succeeds with the help of her friends along the way.
Dr Quinn Medicine Woman: This Tv show has a bit of everything for everybody. It a love story, a comedy, a coming of age story, a drama and jam-packed with adventure.
Emma: A matchmaker who didn't expect to make herself a match
Little House on the Prairie: This TV show follows a family starting out in a small farming community. They stick together and grow through thick and thin. This is an enjoyable show for the whole family.
Mansfield Park: This suspenseful love story will have your heart churning.
North and South: Opposites attract in the midst of conflict and catastrophe.
Northanger Abbey: A lovely romance which is definitely in my top 3 and would very highly recommend for any romantic.
Persuasion: Need I persuade you more?
Pride and Prejudice: A classic which is personally my favourite. Mr. Darcy though a hard catch, is caught by Lizzie a light hearted, deep thinking, and selfless sister of four. Underestimated and most times overlooked.
Under the Greenwood Tree: A light hearted love story which will make you happy you took the time to watch it.
The Young Victoria: An inspiring young princess who takes her right to the throne and breaks all bonds holding her back.
