Top five hot movies to watch out for #II

Updated on April 23, 2012

Too soon? Ok for one thing ,there are simply too many movies coming out in the near future and for another thing, i am actually beginning to enjoy doing this. So basically next year is actually to be blast so get those calendars updated as we go through the list of hot movies coming out between now and next year

By the way i saw Sherlock Homes A Game of Shadows and Mission Impossible 4 and i was definitely not disappointed

Dark Knight Rises

Ok i am not a Bat man fan any form or manner but i admit to classic movie when i see them and frankly speaking The Dark Knight Movie. For one thing Heath Ledger did one hell of a job as Joker and for another thing the plot stood perfectly in place.Ok though i might be speaking from the point of view of die hard Batman fans, i actually have high hopes for this movie. Not taking anything away from Christian Bale though, the standout performer for me was Heath Ledger(as i had earlier). He did such a good with the part that you would actually begin to believer that the Joker actually exists

The Dark Knight Rises is the epic conclusion to filmmaker Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy. Starring in this movies would be Oscar winner Christian Bale playing the dual role of Bruce Wayne/Batman ; Anne Hathaway, as Selina Kyle; Tom Hardy, as Bane; Oscar winner Marion Cotillard ("La Vie en Rose"), as Miranda Tate; and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, as John Blake . Returning casts include Oscar winner Michael Caine plays Alfred; Gary Oldman as Commissioner Gordon; and Oscar winner Morgan Freeman reprises the role of Lucius

Following the death of District Attorney Harvey Dent, Batman assumes responsibility for Dent's crimes in order to protect Dent's reputation and is hunted as a fugitive by the Gotham City Police Department. Eight years after the events of The Dark Knight, Gotham has recovered from Joker's killing spree, and is experiencing a time of peace. A warning from the "enigmatic" Selina Kyle foreshadows a coming cataclysm, prompting Batman to return to the city where he must stop the villain Bane and his plans to destroy Gotham

The Darkest Hour

Ok well seeing as there is previous version of this movie, i would my analysis from the trailer. Ok wait before that though i would like to point out that at times i actually watch some movies just because the producers of that movie did a marvelous job on one of their previous works.. A exception of course was Sucker Punch whose producers also made 300. So the first to point out here is that the makers of this movie also made Wanted. Remember Wanted? The movie about curving bullets that Angelina Jolie in it. So maybe there might job be hope here

Another thing that stands out for me in the trailer is the fact that the movie is absolutely. unique. Uniqueness is one of my ups when it comes to choosing movie which is one of the reasons i watched Quarantine(Ok a bit random, but you get my point). I mean seriously, invisible aliens that revealed only through giving out electricity? That is catchy right? right? wrong. The key word here is unique so it is really left for me to go and see how the 'Electric Aliens' Turn out.

The Darkest Hour is the story of five young people who find themselves stranded in Moscow, fighting to survive in the wake of a devastating alien attack. The 3D feature film combines mind-blowing special effects from filmmaker Timur Bekmambetov, with the vision of director Chris Gorak.

G.I Joe:Retaliation

Ok i am not really into cars do impossible things and suits that withstand any form of damage whatsoever but G.I Joe : The Rise of Cobra was really good and the movie even did really well in the box office grossing more than a million dollars. But there were rumors ,which i have not still confirmed, that the original script for the movie was leaked to the fan of the G.I Joe books who criticized it, so another script had to be made. For me though i found i found the plot a bit scattered as the movie went on but everything managed to make sense in the end

I would say the casts from the first movie were random but what is not to love when you Dwayne Johnson and Bruce Willis in the same movie. Dwayne Johnson for his awesome strength and bad ass attitude and Bruce Willis for the fact that though he is old he is still going to act in two awesome movies next year(This one and another film i would about later) and the next installment of Die Hard which would come out 2013.

G.I.Joe Retaliation will feature the G.I. Joe Team coming into a conflict with Zartan, Storm Shadow and Firefly all serving under the newly released Cobra Commander. Zartan frames all G.I. Joe operatives as traitors and wipes most of them out in a sneak attack, leaving only Roadblock, Snake Eyes, Flint, Duke and Lady Jaye. Zartan now has all the world leaders under Cobra's control, with warheads headed towards innocent populaces. Badly beaten, out numbered, and outgunned the Joes make a desperate plan to expose the truth and stop Cobra from taking over the world.

Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance

Release Date: February 17, 2012

Now tell me, what is not to love when the movie poster of a blazing skeleton wielding a blazing chain. Oh sorry i have actually watched the first movie so please disregard my comment based on the movie's poster. But i have to say that i cannot believe that i liked the first movie but i actually did. The truth though that everything about the first movie just seemed wrong from the plot back to,,,well the plot.

Now a look at Nicholas Cage. I have to tell that i am really a Nicholas Cage fan but there are some movies that he has been in that he acting was just...terrible. Take Wicker Man for example . His acting in that movie was so bad that i actually threw my laptop through the window, then my younger brother(ok i am kidding my younger brother went first) . But well he did a pretty job in the first on so i am quite hopeful here

Nicolas Cage returns as Johnny Blaze in Columbia Pictures' and Hyde Park Entertainment's "Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance." In the successor to the worldwide hit "Ghost Rider," Johnny - still struggling with his curse as the devil's bounty hunter - is hiding out in a remote part of Eastern Europe when he is recruited by a secret sect of the church to save a young boy (Fergus Riordan) from the devil (Ciaran Hinds). At first, Johnny is reluctant to embrace the power of the Ghost Rider, but it is the only way to protect the boy - and possibly rid himself of his curse forever.

I have to say that i have not really been following Tyler Perry's films religiously, but the from the ones i have seen i have to say that he is a damn good producer. My Favourite Movies till date are Why did I Get Married? and the Sequel Why Did Get Married Too?, Madea in Jail and not to mention his series House of Payne. But from the trailer i believe this movie that he would produce that is of this nature.

A successful, wealthy businessman, Wesley Deeds (Tyler Perry) has always done what's expected of him, whether it's assuming the helm of his father's company, tolerating his brother's misbehavior at the office or planning to marry his beautiful but restless fiancée, Natalie (Gabrielle Union). But Wesley is jolted out of his predictable routine when he meets Lindsey (Thandie Newton), a down-on-her-luck single mother who works on the cleaning crew in his office building. When he offers to help her get back on her feet, the chance encounter with someone so far outside his usual circle ignites something in Wesley. This one good deed may finally spark his courage to exchange the life that's expected of him for the life he's always really wanted.
