Top Ten British Alternative Media Reporters
Forget the mainstream news, with the wonder of the web we can now revel in the world of the Alternative Media. You’ll find the news that you’ll never see on TV, or in the newspapers.
The man, the legend. David Icke. Ickey (rhymes with ‘spiky’) is an internationally recognised and revered conspiracy theorist. Often wrongly dismissed by the sheeple as simply ‘the reptilian guy’, David Icke does in fact research and report on a huge range of issues. He’s doesn’t just make ‘weird’ or ‘bizarre’ claims.
David’s career has been varied. He first came to prominence as a goalkeeper for Hereford United Football Club. Tragically for David, early onset arthritis forced him to stop playing. He later found a job as the sports correspondent for top political show ‘Newsnight’, and later landed a role with the primetime BBC sports television programme, ‘Grandstand’. He then appeared on Britain’s very first breakfast TV show, ‘Breakfast Time’. These television jobs catapulted David to fame. He became a very well-known television personality.
Sadly, Icke’s fortunes changed overnight in 1991 when the now infamous 'Wogan' interview effectively finished his mainstream media career. David Icke went from a celebrity to a laughing stock.
So, why the huge change? Since meeting with psychic Betty Shine who had told David that he had been ‘sent to heal the earth’, Icke came to some realisations about the world. His invitation to the Wogan show came after a press conference where Icke had predicted that the end of the world would take place in 1993. His public claim on TV in front of millions of viewers, that he was ‘the son of the Godhead’, started a spell of public ridicule that continues to this day.
David Icke didn’t allow this public mockery to hinder him, and he has been working to awaken the sheeple ever since. He has written many books on a wide range of subjects including consciousness, institutionalised paedophilia within the British establishment and his 'Problem-Reaction-Solution' theory.
Over the years, David has come under huge criticism for his theory that the world is controlled by a global reptilian elite. Many people feel that the very idea that we are ruled by human sized lizards is a bit too much. However, his view that we are ruled to be kept in perpetual fear is certainly compelling.
Nowadays, David Icke can be seen speaking on his weekly video Newscast, dealing with current affairs in charismatic style that you certainly won’t find on the BBC. Though, he is occasionally invited on to the BBC 5 Live Radio station for his football views.
David continues to constantly research and release new material online and in his books.
He doesn’t mention the reptiles so much nowadays.
Richard D Hall
With arguably the greatest TV theme tune in the Alternative Media, Richard D Hall is a truth movement legend. He takes a no-nonsense approach to ‘telling it like it is’.
Hall’s Richplanet TV show aired on the UK’s Sky TV. His show's format included a review of the mainstream news, plus interviews with people who had esoteric expertise. Subjects such as the legend of King Arthur, mind control and animal mutilations were sandwiched alongside Hall’s true passion – Unidentified Flying Objects.
Richard D Hall works hard to uncover government lies. He uses his belief of extra-terrestrial government knowledge and complicity as an example of information being kept from the masses. He reports on UFO sightings, suggesting that they may not be so unexplainable after all. Rather than things being utterly unexplainable, Hall believes that the powers that be know exactly what is going on.
In 2013, Richplanet TV was unceremoniously pulled from the air. His interview with Professor Nick Kollerstrom about the murder of Drummer Lee Rigby caused a single complaint to be sent to the UK’s broadcast regulator, OFCOM. Richplanet returned in 2015, albeit in a watered down way. Hall was advised by the TV station to, in effect, ‘stick with the alien stuff’.
Richard D Hall continues to produce excellent shows, and also tours he UK, reporting on the news that he cannot now share on TV.
Richard’s motto is the ultimate conspiracy mantra. Believe none of what you hear and only half of what you see!
Brian Gerrish has to be the hardest working man in the British Alternative Media. His daily news show ‘The UK Column’, is a resource that many truth seekers stumble upon and grow to trust.
An Ex Naval Officer, Gerrish now dedicates his time to supporting people who are victimised by the state. He believes that the charity ‘Common Purpose’ is responsible for training an elite alumni network that is working covertly in order to rule over everyone. He also views Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) with great scepticism, believing that it is a trick to hypnotise people into having their minds controlled. Gerrish believes that with minds controlled, the masses will acquiesce, do what they are told, and keep quiet.
The UK Column show presents headlines from the mainstream media, along with commentary about how these stories are incorrect, intentionally placed or part of a bigger conspiracy.
The UK Column also invites guests on to the show in order to share their stories. Notable guests include Melanie Shaw, Ian Puddick and Guy Taylor.
As is usual with the alternative media community, Gerrish is viewed with some suspicion that he may in fact be a paid government agent. He clearly doesn’t allow these rumours to curtail his efforts in exposing the truth. As an ex-Navy man, it would take much more than a rumour to rattle him.
Danielle La Verité
There are not nearly enough women in the British Alternative Media movement. The treatment of Danielle La Verité would hint as to why this is the case.
Danielle burst on to the truth seeking scene in 2014. Using her YouTube channel, Danielle started out by filming her open letters to public figures. She quickly became the voice for many, and gained a huge following of people who shared her views.
Her open letters soon turned into a weekly news round-up, with Danielle reporting on her take on the current mainstream news. Danielle’s refreshing manner and terrible language were an instant hit.
Along with her new fans, Danielle attracted a few trolls. Though she dealt with the onslaught of dissent very well, she eventually stopped allowing comments on her YouTube channel.
Danielle has, in her first year on the scene, racked up viral videos, made firm friends, made equally firm enemies and has started to speak at live events. She is the new darling of the British Alternative Media.
An inspiration for other women to take a greater role in the male dominated conspiracy world, she is paving the way for others. Danielle is currently experimenting with the laws of attraction, with fantastic results.
Jimmy the Outlaw
The mysterious Outlaw produces fantastically researched pieces on a huge range different topics. From the enigma of Rhesus Negative blood to the care home abuse scandals that took place in Wales, Jimmy researches and reports in a clear, honest and utterly readable way.
Jimmy’s work is mainly found on his website, though he has recently started to produce videos on YouTube, too. Though we don’t get to see the face or hear the voice of the man who writes so well, the short clips are an easy way to encourage people to find out more and look at his site.
As ever with blogs, the comments section can be as illuminating as what is written in the body of the piece. Jimmy always responds to his readers, showing great respect. When people disagree with him, he’ll be the first to make it clear that we can all agree to disagree, and still get along.
Jimmy has had his share of detractors, and by becoming such a credible alternative media writer his head is now firmly above the parapet. As Jimmy himself says ‘I will never lose myself amid the hatred of others’. That’s great advice for us all.
Though an acclaimed mainstream media journalist, Sonia Poulton enjoys the respect of those in the truth seeking alternative media, too. Her stint on the ill-fated ‘The People’s Voice’ internet TV channel raised her profile considerably within the truth movement.
When Sonia is not trading blows with her arch Nemesis Katie Hopkins on This Morning or Sky News, she uses her fearless voice to stand up to injustices wherever she sees them.
Notable cases that Sonia has brought to the attention of many is the Natalie Rowe/George Osborne affair, the truth on the suspicious death of Brenda Leyland and the disappearance of Madeline McCann. Sonia is clearly driven by a desire for the truth.
Sonia is often credited with sparking the catalyst of demise for The People’s Voice web channel back in 2013. She is reported to have asked for clarity on the accounts, apparently concerned about what was happening to funds raised by viewer donations a part of an Indie Go Go campaign. Suspicion and in-fighting soon tore the project apart.
Sonia continues to work hard to research the tough subjects. Her long awaited documentary in the disappearance of Madeline McCann will be released soon.
Mark Windows came to prominence after his show became an instant hit on Icke’s ‘The People’s Voice’ web channel. ‘Windows on the World’ showcased a range of guests, all interviewed by Mark Windows. They spoke about their experiences at the hands of the British state. From forced evictions to court orders, Mark is a man on a mission to spread helpful information to victims of state sanctions.
Windows on The World continued on YouTube after the fall of The People’s Voice. Mark’s guests would focus on the system, and ways to subvert it, with a specific interest in the Freeman on the Land movement.
Mark’s easy going interviewing style allows his guests to shine, and he always helps the interview to flow by adding information that he has gathered over the years. He is clearly passionate about fairness for everyone, not just the top 0.01% in society.
Mark is a musician, and his show’s theme tune is infectious enough to be released as a standalone song. As Mark says, his show ‘features cutting edge news, empowering information and no conspiracy theories.’
Notable Window’s on the World gusts include Dr Nick Kollerstrom, Jim Fetzer and David Shayler.
Born in Middlesbrough, David Shayler embodies conspiracy intrigue. A former MI5 Agent, Shayler has courted controversy since he decided to blow the whistle on Britain’s alleged activities.
Shayler went on the run with his then partner, Annie Machon. Their inside knowledge was that the UK had failed in their plan to assassinate Colonel Gaddafi. They shared this with the world.
After an outstanding appearance on the top political satire show ‘Have I Got News for You’, via satellite from exile in France, Shayler voluntarily returned to the UK.
After a short spell in prison at Her Majesty’s Pleasure, Shayler became involved in the 9/11 Truth Movement. He has since claimed to be ‘The Messiah’, and has outed himself publicly as living some of his life as his alter, Delores.
David Shayler continues to work to spread truth and light. He can be found speaking at various truther events, and has an active presence on social media. He has the best Twitter handle in the movement - @Gods_Spy.
Former tattoo artist Chris Spivey (pronounced Spyvee) is quite a journalist to be reckoned with. His loyal band of readers have followed Chris’s work over the last few years, ever since a website was set up for him, following his reporting in the Sovereign Independent News.
Chris is keen to shine a light on the real reasons behind the mainstream media headlines. Chris has called ‘False Flag’ on many recent events, such as the murder of Drummer Lee Rigby, The Boston Bombing and the Glasgow Bin Lorry Crash.
Using humour and photo shopped imaged, Chris Spivey paints a picture of current affairs that the viewer will subsequently see in a whole new light.
Chris’s work has brought him to the attention of the authorities. Chris was recently charged with harassment over the research he’s undertaken on the Lee Rigby murder. Chris is concerned that the state are trying to silence him by threatening his liberty, and the safety of his family.
Chris Spivey won’t let the law stop him from publishing his research. As the man himself would put it, he’s ‘Just Sayin’.
Claiming to have created the very first website to show videos on the web, Everard’s precursor to the likes of YouTube and Vimeo continues to this day.
Everard writes, presents and produces many films on his website, the Enigma channel. He specialises in making documentaries about a wide array of subjects, such as ancient artefacts and satanic cults.
Everard’s most popular documentaries have been his Spirit World series, and he also had an e-zine called ‘Feed Your Brain’. Everard also presents a regular show on Truth Frequency Radio, and notable topics include the Annunaki, the Illuminati and ancient Egyptian mysteries.
Like many alternative media researchers, Everard has gained a following of devotees and dissenters. The truth seeking game requires players to be fearless and faithful to the information that they present. The drive to continue to bring truth to the masses certainly seems to push Everard on, his work is prolific, and well regarded in the alternative media community.
