Because Tommy killed his parents he now is able to shift into other people. He shifts into Sam and runs Merlot's. He fires Sookie and sleeps with Sam's girlfriend.

Lafayette and Jesus find a rattlesnake as a sacrifice to obtain greater powers. Jesus is bitten by a rattle snake and Tai Luco posses Lafayette.

Tara's girlfriend shows up and they reunite only to be attacked by Pam

Jason ties himself up because he fears turning into a were panther and Jessica comes to his rescue. Flames of romance are kindling.

Marnie call the witch Antonia into herself to posses her so Antonia might avenge her death. Antonia now posses Marney and is a threat to all vampires.

Bill finally sentences Eric to the true death but Eric repents his life of evil deeds. He speaks of his love for Sookie and it is clear Eric is the only vampire who is better off with necromancy. Because of Eric's great love for Sookie he is freed from the true death and he embraces loving Sookie.

This show just gets better with each episode. What is clear is the more in love these characters fall the worse their tragedy becomes which makes for a great comedy. The acting is great and the performances, given the subject matter, are terrific. The writers are capable of balancing drama with humor which makes this show appealing on so many levels. It is smart, sophisticated and deals with real life sub-cultural themes in an entertaining fashion. If it wasn't for this show and another I would cut the cable. I was pretty set on cutting the cable this month but when I see these show I think it is worth the bill.

Great hub! I watch True Blood on Netflix and can't wait to start watching the third season. I usually don't say this but I like the writing better on the show than the books.
