Writing is my passion. I have an undying thirst and quest in the field of writing. Some eat, drink or use drugs when stress, I write.

Tupac biopic 'All Eyez On Me' is a 2017 American biographical drama film about the late rapper Tupac Shakur. The new artist plays him, Demetrius Shipp Jr., also Tupac good friend Jada Pinkett-Smith is played by the ex-Vampire Diaries star Kat Graham. Danai Gurira plays the former Black Panther, political activist, and businesswoman, Afeni Shakur, Tupac's mother. The movie is surrounded by the life of hip-hop artist Tupac Shakur, who was murdered in 1996 at age 25.

All eyes were on the screen of Tupac Shakur's biopic, but some did not like what they see. On some level, Tupac's life has always openly operated like a movie playing in front of a live audience. Nonetheless, since 'All Eyez on Me' hit the theaters on June 16th, the film has been slammed by some of the people who knew the late rapper. The film has gotten backlash from 50 Cent, Kevin Powell, John Singleton and Jada Pinkett-Smith. Smith went to Maryland's Baltimore School for the Arts with the hip-hop icon; she is the highest-profile opponent of the new biopic.

'All Eyez on Me' is a biopic that was written to tell the real-life story of the late rapper and icon Tupac Shakur. Although Smith was not in agreement with the story of Tupac biopic, she gave praise to Demetrius Shipp Jr. and Kat Graham by tweeting, "You both did a beautiful job with what you were given." 50 Cent, The G-Unit rapper, who was featured on Shakur's posthumous album Tupac: Resurrection in 2003 was extra straightforward in his criticism of 'All Eyez on Me' by writing, 'The film is "trash".

Kevin Powell felt portions of the movie,'All Eyez on Me' were pulled from an interview he did with Shakur for Vibe magazine in the 1990s. He filed a lawsuit in New York federal court against Morgan Creek Productions, Lionsgate, and all involved. Powell is demanding that the movie is pulled from theaters. Also, he is asking to be given a share of its profits of $34.7 million.

John Singleton, Boyz in the Hood, director, begin assisting in developing the long-gestating biopic about his close friend, but because he felt the people involved aren’t genuinely respectful or frank with the legacy of Tupac Amaru Shakur, he dropped out in 2015. Tupac biopic 'All Eyez On Me' has repeatedly been, publicly bashed by Singleton, who directed Shakur and Janet Jackson in the great 1993's film Poetic Justice. Singleton shared in an interview, "They just made a movie. They didn't think of it as a cultural event." Also, Singleton proceeded on to call All Eyez on Me', a "debacle" on "The Big Tigger Show. "

'All Eyez on Me' hit theaters on June 16th and it surpasses expectations at the box office, but it also manages to tick off the rapper's celebrity friends. According to sources, Shakur's family is not a fan of the movie. Although, according to TMZ, the scene was approved by ‘Pac’s late mother, Afeni Shakur before she died. The film pulled in big numbers at the box office, pulling in an estimated $27.1 million in its debut weekend.

Thank you, Angel, for your reply, and I agree with your decision to wait and see the movie for yourself before you judge the film. I am always for first hand information over second.
