The Last of Us Review

Updated on September 16, 2017

The Best Part

There are many wonderful and excited things about this game. First of all, the graphics for this game all throughout, were very well designed. It looks to me like the designer put a lot of time and effort into making the game, which in return gave us a game that is truly magic. This game is very exhilirating and you get a lot of close encounters with not only the infected but you have to deal with members of a gang type group of people called "hunters."

Secondly, the game has a very awesome storyline connected to it. It starts off with Joel at his house with his young daughter before the virus even spread. Sometime in the middle of the night they realize that something is not right. Joels brother comes to pick him up and then you hit the chaos of town. You see infected running all around, grabbing ahold of people, cars being flipped and people basically running for their life. It is the regular zombie type storyline.

But what makes this different, is the girl. She is different then most. That is why they go on a journey across the country to find a cure. The girl is the cure.

I Give The Last Of Us Five Stars!

Another Great Thing About the Game.

This is one of the only games I was able to play all the way through more then once. I love it so much that I started on easy and now I going through it on the hardest settings. It is not easy, but I enjoy the challenge.

There are a decent weapon selection to choose from and I like most of the slueth techniques that you can do to kill the enimies. most of the actions that take place are pre arranged and it just makes the suspence that much more thrilling.

There are many things that go along with the excitement of the game, giving it that extra push to make it that much more realistic. For example, change of lighting, sounds being faded and moved from one speaker to the other. Heartbeat sounds, as well as blurred vision. Stuff like that. IT really hightens the intensity level a lot!

Downsides Of The Game.

Like I said, I enjoyed this game a LOT, so with my personal opinion I don't see anything bad with it. I didn't notice anything that could have been better in the 3 times I have gone through it, except maybe, better guns and more ammo for the hunting rifle. That was one of my favorite guns to use, it had great aim and wonderful power. But that was the only weapon of it's kind with such power, any of the smaller guns take at LEAST 4 shots to kill anything. I would be better off using my knife. But other then that, It is pretty awesome the way it is. Maybe if it had a different ending, but the one they made for it was just fine.

I don't exactly like the way that the hunters almost always kill me with two shots and it takes nearly 5 shot for me to get them. Not just that, they somehow ALWAYS know where I am at, which is impossible. I find it hard to stay one step ahead because any step out in the open and they attack.

These are the intense hunters you will come across.

They show no mercy
They show no mercy

There are many scenes where you will be ambushed.

These are the infected. They make the worst growling noises that can be heard for miles. Once you hear that, then you need to prepare yourself.

Be aware of CLICKERS.

The sound they make is different then other infected. They can't see but once they know you are around, they will go straight for your neck.
