Southern California Sunset Pictures
Sunsets are stunning scenes to photograph. Do you have an interest in travel, photography, and breath-taking sunsets? Did you know Southern California is known for some of the best picture postcard sunsets, which might be of of interest to you as a travel photographer? I love that I live in a place where people spend money to travel to, which makes me feel a bit more fortunate about not having money to explore the world myself.
Vibrant sunsets will bring you to Southern California, and this is something that will entice you to stay for months, or even years. The typical sunsets are enjoyable, but when you see a really spectacular sunset here in SoCal are show stoppers. Going on a walk past the orange field down the street gave me the perfect opportunity to photograph and take a couple of videos of this kaleidoscopic hued sunset that streaked across the sky. The orange and pink colors coalesced and mixed like the paints in an impressionist masterpiece, and all feels right with the world when I am walking at sunset time. I just stand there for a moment and drink in the serenity of the sunset, which is better than any high end retreat. I seek out beauty and serenity in nature, and things that are free. Even when you have a bad day and people say hurtful things to you, well you can just smile and gaze upon the sunset. The end of the day with a perfect sunset can be quite rejuvenating.
The various hues of orange in this sunset were quite striking to me. The photograph above was one of my favorite sunsets that I happened to capture in the year of 2012.
The vibrant pinks and oranges of the sunset are quite soothing. There is nothing more serene than just looking at a sunset and letting your thoughts wander.
The orange, pink, and light purple streaks in the sky were quite stunning.
The pine needles create interesting silhouettes on the trees at sunset.
The blurry sunset has colors that are quite alluring.
Street lights blur in this sunset photograph, which almost looks more like an impressionist painting. Some people hate blurry photographs, but I like to find the redeeming qualities of these.
Bright colors illuminate the mountains in the distance.
The mixture of colors create a vibrant and mesmerizing sunset to behold.
Colors mix and roll together during the magnificent sunset.
The shadows of the trees and the buildings and the trees have a slightly blurred look in this sunset photograph.
The slightly hazy traffic lights add to the romance of this sunset scene.
Different shades of orange can be seen in this sunset.
The sky is blue at the top, and pinkish/orange near the horizon.
The blur of lights looking out towards Mount Baldy. My camera was sure jumpy on this day back in 2012, but I think the blurred images make the sunset photographs look like experimental paintings.
The video above is a little walk that shows what a sunset looks like here in Southern California. Creating vlogs is a useful and fun way to share the scenery of your world with others.
