Batman Vs Superman

This is probably one of the most anticipated movies of 2016. If you a fan of superhero movies like me then this is really a movie to watch. The release date is the 25th March 2016. It is a movie in the making as these two DC powerhouses had to finally go head to head. These two are both household names in the comic book character world.

There have been spoilers on the internet on who wins but I would rather keep it a surprise for all of us. Director, Zack Snyder, will be in charge of delivering this movie. He directed Man of Steel a couple of years back and I am looking forward to see how he approaches this movie.

I don't know about you but I really wanted Christian Bale to be Batman in this movie because he did such a great job of playing Batman in the Dark Knight Rises but we will have to see if Ben Affleck can live up to the Batman role.

The idea behind this movie is something to do with the comic book series. Batman and Superman have a "falling out" and they turn against each other. We don't know who's good and who's bad but in the comic books this was the beginning of the justice league. However there might be some deviation from the comic book series so it will be interesting where they take this movie and if they leave it open for a sequel. DC also introduce a new character, Wonder women.

A huge risk for the DC universe because if this movie flops then that's the end of DC. But we will only have to wait less than a month until this movie hits the big screen, the count down is on. Before I sign off I will leave the link to the trailer below so you can check it out if you haven't already seen it.

I would like to see who you think will win so if you have a couple of seconds then just leave a vote on the pole. It's quite hard to tell as both superheroes are strong in different forms of combat and they both have their strengths and weaknesses, but if I had to pick I would say Batman because the trailers show him as the more dominant character.

If you are like me and you would like to see the financial side of the film:

  • Total Revenue

The there is a brilliant website called "Box Office Mojo" where you can see the film stats. It is always being updated and it's quite cool to see how a film does on the opening weekend, daily and monthly. Another great thing about this site is that it's free and you don't need an account.
