Watching The Woman in Black

Updated on May 30, 2012

Now I am not the type to watch horror movies all the time, they have to really catch my attention. Well, this movie caught my attention, The Woman in Black. I saw that Daniel Radcliffe was the main character and I thought it had to be a good movie. So I decided to watch it and see what it was about.

There is a lawyer, Arthur Kipps (Daniel Radcliffe) who lost his wife when she was giving birth to their son. He goes to this village to take care of a house of a lady who is dead. There is a secret in that village that they won't exactly tell him about and they don't really want him knowing it either. They tell him to go but he refuses to go because he wants to find out what is that secret. As he goes to the house of his client, he realizes that it is haunted by a woman dressed in black. She haunts the village trying to find someone or even something she may have lost. The children of the village are not safe from her wrath.

This movie was good and did make me jump a bit. There were those surprising moments in that movie. So if you are up to a good, small scare well this may be the movie for you. Daniel Radcliffe did a good job and this shows he has moved on from what he first started doing.

You should read the novel by Susan Hill, it's also very creepy! Great review!!!
