I find myself reading and learning something new everyday so i decided to share that knowledge on a platform filled with curious minds.

Thanos goes by many aliases such as the Mad Titan, Master, Master lord or even Overmaster. All aliases have one thing in common, they represent a being who is considered very powerful or very respected among the individuals he governs.

He is a being born on one of Saturn's moons called Titan. He is one of 2 sons of the original inhabitants of the moon named A'Lars and Sui-San. His abnormal skin color and relatively grotesque features when compared to other Eternals made him an outsider to his family. Even without his families support and love, he had an innate fascination with death and obsession with power. AT one point he admitted to studying the biological make up of his mother by experimenting on her; ya, his own mother. If he was willing to go that far, you can imagine what he do to satisfy his other curiosities.

Thanos is part of the evolutionary upgrade from human beings known as Eternals. Eternals possess enhanced physical and mental capabilities compared to human beings as well as have longer life spans. They were originally created by beings called the Celestials. Celestials are massive humanoid like entities that possess near unlimited power and knowledge. They are clad in armor as a knight would be and their sole purpose for existing is unknown. These beings visited earth and experimented with the human species of that time for potentially research purposes. The experiments eventually led to the evolutionary enhancement combined with other modifications to the genetic makeup, leading to the first birth of Eternals.

Thanos was eventually exiled from his home on Titan so he decided to travel the universe in search of something to quench his unquenchable thirst for power. He eventually meets the female embodiment of Death itself. An instant connection was made with Death, even to the point of admiration and devotion. This meeting would send Thanos down an ambitious but ultimately dark road where many lives would be lost in the process.

Powers and Abilities

Thanos possess improved physiology and mental capabilities like a Eternals but to a much greater degree. He has Superhuman strength, Endurance, Speed, Agility, Reflexes, healing factor as well as Near Immunity to all diseases. The Cybernetic suit he wears combined with his tough skin makes him very durable and resistant to most environmental influences such as intense heat, cold, electricity and various toxins. He also possess a genius level intellect and keen strategic mind. Telepathy and strong mental barriers from psychic attacks from other telepaths protects him from any form of mind manipulation and trickery.

Besides his suit, he also possesses a floating chair that hosts a number of functions. It can teleport long distance which saves Thanos a lot of time but not good for the back. The Chair has self defenses built into it like energy projections and can project a force field or protective barrier when combined with Thanos's magic. Eventually he comes across the Infinity Gauntlet that is a place keeper for the Infinity Gems.

Infinity Gems

The Infinity Gems were previously known as soul gems. The name soul gem makes sense when you consider that the gems were once a part of one of the earliest entities in the beginning of the universe. The Entity split itself into 6 gems that each host a specific and powerful ability. When all 6 Infinity Gems are assembled, they can imbue however possess them with omnipotent powers with unlimited potential for peace or for destruction. I wonder what Thanos would do with such power.

Green Infinity Gem - Soul Gem
Red Infinity Gem - Power Gem
Orange Infinity Gem - Time Gem
Yellow Infinity Gem - Reality Gem
Purple Infinity Gem - Space Gem
Blue Infinity Gem - Mind Gem

Black Order

Thanos, through his travels across the universe, encountered beings who he deemed worthy and potential allies in his quest for power and destruction. Over time, he gathered 6 members who he considered to be his most powerful and loyal subjects.

Black Dwarf: Bald with yellow eyes and a muscular build. He has superhuman strength and durability.

Black Swan: real name Yabbat Ummon Turru. She has white skin with white hair. Has superhuman strength, ability to fly, telepathy, optic energy blasts, and force field creation.

Corvus Glaive: He has black eyes, white skin, and sharp teeth. Possesses superhuman strength, speed, endurance and the right hand man of Thanos. He is the main strategist of Thanos's army.

Ebony Maw: He has blue eyes, white skin, and sharp ears. Not a powerhouse in abilities but possesses a genius level intellect that surpasses any member in Thanos's army. He uses is intellect to deceive and manipulate the beings around him.

Proxima Midnight: Wife of Corvus Glaive. She has white eyes and blue hair. Possesses superhuman strength, speed, endurance as well as being an expert in hand to hand combat.

Supergiant: She has blue skin and yellow eyes. An Omnipath that can read and manipulate the mind of any being. She control multiple beings at once or control a single being from a great distance away. She is also immune to physical damage and can phase through solid objects.

Thanos is considered one of the greatest Supervillans the earth has ever faced. With his small group of loyal but immensely powerful subjects at his side and an enormous army under his control, is there any stopping this force of destruction.
