Charlene Tilton the sexy, sultry diva that was better known as Lucy on the hit series Dallas also playing in one episode of Knots Landing was born December 1,1958 in San Diego, California. Charlene was an only child , at the young age of 10 she began to knock on doors trying to get acting and dance scholarships persuading photographers to shoot her. Mature beyond on her years, her mother trusted and had confidence in her young daughter. After perseverance while attending Hollywood High School she landed a small part in the movie " Freak Friday." Her role was to run from one side of the set to the other if you actually watch the movie you can see young Charlene almost in every frame. She continued on, making a clothing line commercial with Ringo Starr that aired in Japan. Shortly after, her career had dwindled until one day a man walked into a T-shirt shop where Charlene was working passing her a couple of notes, she finally gave in after dating Jon Mercedes for a short period of time he finally persuaded her to move in with him which enabled her to focus on her acting actor. She had soon landed small parts in " Happy Days", " Eight is Enough", and " Police Woman." Sweater girls was a movie that she landed the part of Lucy in the long airing series, " Dallas."

Johnny Lee fell head over heels for Charlene Tilton in 1982 they were married, shortly after there beautiful daughter Cherish Lee was born. In 1984 Johnny Lee and Charlene Tilton divorced but both Johnny Lee and Charlene Tilton shared in there daughters up-bringing. In 1985 Charlene married Domenick Allen there marriage lasted seven years in 1992 they were divorced.

Only 4'11" Charlene appeared on several shows Circus of the Stars in 1991, Saturday Night Live and the hit TV series Married with Children amongst others. She also made a cameo appearance in the movie " Big Wednesday." Charlene Tilton had been featured on over 600 cover magazines worldwide and at one time received more fan mail then any other actor at CBS. She was most recently spotted on the show TMZ with her autographed pictures in hand, although she has matured and aged beautifully she is still loved by people who had watched her and adored as Lucy on the episode of Dallas that aired from 1978-1990. Her website will provide you with updates, signed autographs and a trip down memory lane for those who were an avid fan of the show Dallas. I remember her on Married with Children. Al makes a comment on how desparate for work she is and she nods in agreement. A lovely actress.

She was a gorgeous lady! I knew she was tiny but didn't know she was less than five feet! I tuned in to Dallas to get a look at her in the early days, and then the show hooked me.

I have enjoyed your "whatever happened to" series.

In the UK, Lucy Ewing was rather cruelly dubbed, 'The Poisonous Dwarf'.

Yes, she has aged beautifully. Interesting to see her again.

OK, I'm waiting for the next 'Whatever Happened to' :)

      Another good read!
