'White Tiger' Movie Shoot in Thailand
Cast and Crew Party
Martial Arts fans know them as some of the finest champions and masters of fightings arts:
- Don Wilson (10 times kickboxing world champion)
- Cynthia Rothrock ('Lady Dragon')
- Joe Lewis (1st American Kickboxer and Heavyweight World Champion)
These three MA legends met in Bangkok, Thailand in January and February of 2012 to work on a new action movie: White Tiger. Leading role is played by Matt Mullins, a sunny boy from California who is on his way to the top in Action movies. One of the key scenes of White Tiger showcases a fight between Don Wilson and Cynthia Rothrock. It's somewhat of a resemblance to the fight between Chuck Norris and Bruce Lee in their epic cinema battle in Rome's Colosseum. Cynthia and Don have to settle for a less spectacular location, a cave inside the jungle of Thailand. But it's not the location that makes a great fight scene. It took them 10 days to shoot this and more crucial fight scenes. During this time, they had to live in the jungle as well with very basic comfort, only.
After 10 days of shooting in the jungle, cast and crew were happy to return back to Thailand's capital Bangkok for a party in 5 star hotels like the the JW Marriot and the 4 Points by Sheraton on Sukhumvit Road. The casual VIP and rooftop parties included it's entire crew with director Toby Russell, producers Karen Kaing and George Tan, famous Thai actress Yui from Thailand's TV Chanel 7 and local journalists as well as selected VIP guests.
