The Various Actors List with the James Bond Role in the Movies

Updated on June 5, 2016

James Bond A.K.A. Agent 007

Throughout the years he was several different people. Although each play the same role, the actors all have their own spice in the movies.

From 1962 with the first James Bond movie "Dr. No", Agent 007 was Sean Connery. Now in 2012 Daniel Craig will be James Bond in "Sky fall" when released. Everyone has their favorite James Bond since no two were alike.

Here is a list of each and every one of the actors, the years they were James Bond, and which films they starred in. Leaves me wondering who might the next James Bond be?

Daniel Craig is currently doing a great job of performing as the James Bond character, and since he is contracted for a few of the upcoming films for a couple of years as well, we may see him for a while. However, only time will tell.

The very first James Bond film was played by Sean Connery and it was the one which started the hype. "Dr. No" in 1962, every year after that until 1967 Sean Connery was also the actor as James Bond.

Except for 1966 in which that year a Bond film was not released. He also starred in 1971 for his last Bond Film, until 1983 where he played his role in the remake of "Thunderball" for the film "Never Say Never Again".

George Lazenby

George Lazenby played his role in the one and only James Bond film he ever did.

The 1969 "On Her Majesty's Secret Service". Some argue he was not a great actor. Others thought that the audience was not yet ready for the way he acted.

Even if it was his only one, he still played part in the James Bond history. He continued his acting career in other Hollywood movies several years after this one, but not as James Bond. Even today he is expressing his concern for some changes to the history of the movies.

In Sky fall, to be released this year, Bond will be drinking a Heineken beer instead of his 40 year old traditional Martini. George stated "the Martini is a sacred tradition for the character that should not be broken with a beer that really isn't that great".
