He's Just Like One Of Us

Charles Ramsey, the hero who recently saved Amanda Berry, Gina DeJesus, and Michele Knight from their captors in Cleveland, Ohio, is somebody you should like. Why you may ask, well he's simply one of us. Unlike the overly buff superheroes from comic books that fly in to save the damsel in distress, Charles Ramsey is a real dude that you would pass up any day of the week going to work. He might be that forgettable face on the street, but obviously he has a lot more character and courage than many others that faced similar hard choices of whether to get involved in someone else's crisis or not. In essence he could be you or me or a relative, simply anyone. Need more proof? Here a few more reasons Charles is a normal guy and why you should like him.

Bro Down

For starters, Charles Ramsey says "bro" a lot. Anybody that says bro is automatically trying to be cool with you, granting you the affectionate "bro" moniker as if to say "Hey, let's party!" It's especially relevant in the context of this miraculous ending to a an otherwise tragic situation because the unlikely hero keeps it real by avoiding the pedestal of his new found celebrity choosing to instead be a real regular dude and bro down with every fame-peddler crossing his path, from the local news guy to Anderson Cooper. He's a real dude and you should like him. Check out the following clip to see what I mean.

Anderson Cooper Interviews Charles Ramsey

Big Mac Attack

He eats McDonald's. No uppity ass person would ever admit eating McDonald's because maybe their primal diet frowns upon the deliciousness of frozen burger meat, but not your boy Charles Ramsey. During his interviews in which he recants the life changing episode he gives a shout outs to McDonald's like he was one of the Fry Guys renegotiating his contract. You got to like a guy for that. Don't bite the hand that feeds you.

Ask Questions Later

Charles Ramsey was like action first, ask questions later. Anybody that ain't scared to help people is likable. It shouldn't matter who's door you are kicking in, if someone screams bloody murder you start tearing down apartment buildings if you have to figure out what is going down.

Heroics Free Of Charge

He doesn't want a reward. You should like that. He's not in it for the glory, just to kick ass and take names.

Style Points

You should definitely like Mr. Ramsey because your boy rocks the backwards cap.Wearing a hat backwards is kind of a 90's thing, but it tells you a lot about someone's personality like they are open, inviting, friendly, There is no mask, no brim to hide under, It's Charles Ramsey, dog, recognize and feel the love!

Viral Impact

And one of the biggest signs that Charles Ramsey is crazy likable is that he went viral instantly. That is why I'm writing about him. That is why there his interview was Songified like so many other web sensations before him, and why he is appearing on talk show after talk show. Hey, if yo can make it on the web you can make it anymore. Somebody famous said that right?
