Will Nate End up With Elena or Amanda on the Young and the Restless

On The Young and the Restless, Nate Hastings was dating Abby Newman and Victor actually approved of his daughter's choice for once. The relationship seemed to good to be true, and indeed it was. Dr. Hastings was the Newman patriarch's personal physician and part of the fake death plot. Everyone in the family seemed to love and trust him, but, he later decided that his actions were wrong and broke up with Abby. In the midst of all the drama, Nate has been growing closer to Elena who is currently dating Devon. Recently, Abby's ex has also been hanging out with Amandawho is also drawn to Billy quite a bit and it looks like his initial distrust of the lawyer may be subsiding. The good doctor seems to be in the valley of indecision regarding his love life. It's not certain at this point which direction his romantic life will take if any. Amanda however has been bonding with Billy and both feel guilty that her ex Ripley stabbed Victoria.

Nate is friendly with three beautiful women and one of them could end up as a serious love interest, or not. From the time he returned to Genoa City, The Young and the Restless seemed to have Dr. Hastings in a holding pattern. He was Victor's personal physician and a sounding board for Neil and Devon. Nate was to go to guy an eventually this is who he became to Elena while he was dating Abby. Now Amanda is in the picture and some viewers are wondering what the future holds for the good doctor.

When Mishael Morgan first began portraying Hilary on The Young and the Restless most viewers did not like the character. By the time she and her unborn child died she hda many fans who were sorry she left the CBS daytime drama. When Josh Griffith took over as head writer after Mal Young was fired Morgan and other former cast members were rehired. The question now will be where to place her if she remains on the show longterm. Although Hilary fans are excited that Mishael is back in Genoa City her current storyline may cause future problems.

Everyone in Genoa City was stunned to see that this attorney was Hilary's doppelganger. She is playing a role where she was part of a scheme that defrauded Devon of his inheritance. Many fans want Amanda with Devon which would leave Elena free to be with Nate. Lately, however, Ms. Dawson has been sticking to Devon like glue. If Amanda does not hookup with Billy, it seems more likely she would become romantically involved with Nate, rather than Devon, but that script can always be flipped.

It's possible that Nate's interest in Amanda is nothing more than an attempt to look out for his cousin Devon. Spoiler alerts and rumors for The Young and the Restless have yet to indicate what the future will be for Amanda Sinclair in Genoa City so all of this is speculation. Viewers will have to sit tight until the writers give some clues or a storyine is leake.

Britny Sarpy was put on contract when she was hired on The Young and the Restless. She previously portrayed Lulu's cousin Valerie on General Hospital where she did not get a lot of air time. In Genoa City, Sarpy is portraying Elena the cousin of Ana and Jet's niece. She and Devon are in a relationship but there really is no chemistry between the couple. Every time she has a problem lately, however, she turns to Nate. The two of them discuss her medical career and Dr. Hastings has been very supportive. In recent weeks the duo has been chatting about Devon and Amanda. No serious information has come forth from spoiler alerts, but only suggestions.

The writers for The Young and the Restless don't seem to have any idea what they want to do with these characters where romance is concerned. Abby has been going from man to man for quite some time an appears incapable of holding on to lasting love. Without Hilary, Devon seems to be going through the motions. His relationship with Elena is not on solid ground. They could remain together and Amanda end up with Nate, or Devon could fall for his late wife's double and the two doctors end up together. If Amanda leaves town, everything could go in a different direction, including Abby an Nate reuniting or Ms. Newman an her good friend Devon falling in love.
