Work Is The Curse Of The Drinking Class

Work Is The Curse Of The Drinking Class

by Chuck RitenouR 8-2-2K5

verse1:

There's a lot of rich folks never do a thing all day

spend their time at the Country Club, man they've got it made.

before the sun I'm on the run, breakin' back and busting ass

I know work is the curse of the drinking class.

verse 2:

A little after sundown, I'm in my double wide

the wolf ia howlin' at the door, there's no place I can hide

and the whiskey in the bottle disappears so fast

I know work is the curse of the drinking class.

chorus:

when the work is done that's when the fun begins

sharing a frosty mug and a shot or two with my friends

Mondays last forever, weekends go by so fast

I know work is the curse of the drinking class.

I know work is the curse of the drinking class.

the end

Yes it is true I used his quote...I visited Ireland in 2005, while there I bought a copy of "The book of deadly Irish Quotes some smart fecker in the pub is always blatherin' on about" by Colin Murphy & Donal O'Dea. One of my favorites is anonymous :"I hate people who quote me and you can quote me on that."

How nice it is to find that the sayings of Oscar Wilde live on, and are giving inspiration to such a muse as yourself.

      Keep up the good work.
