World Broadcasting on You Tube

Updated on March 16, 2011

To all You Tubers

Broadcast yourself…two words that captivate the minds of the net surfers who want to join the channel or site. It is worldwide so you can really see the interaction of different cultures through comments and ratings on the video being watched however weird or unique it is to the taste of individual viewer.

The Originator and Creator

Before, here in Asia you can only rely on cable feeds via satellite of programs being syndicated from the mainland of USA wherein original TV shows are made and marketed to the world. With the advent of World Wide Web, we can now interact with other people in specific part of the world.

Although censorship is being implemented on the video being uploaded, the bottom line is that you can promote what you want to spread in the net. From a song, commentary or documentary or latest news in politics around the world, you can post your comments or video response for a certain topic.

The men behind this success have simple goals for the You Tube. YouTube is a video sharing website on which users can upload and share videos. Three former Paypal employees created YouTube in February 2005.

They only want to have some enjoyment of their home made videos. But the response of the world is overwhelming.

Google, Inc. bought the site and made such improvement from then on.

Free Promotion and Advertising

The plus of having a You Tube account is you can make your own promotion of business or homemade videos without the burden of paying for advertisement. All you have to do is to create it through your camera phone or video camera then edit it to your computer then publish it on the net through your You Tube account.

You can subscribe to other site or contributor, make comment or remarks and share it to your friends. Avoid doing videos with sexual absurdities. Your video should be informative and wholesome all the time. Otherwise, it will be published by the site with restrictions.

Music copyright is often the problem of You Tuber like me. If I used music or songs as background to add glamour to my video, I expect that will be marked as with third party content. Major music companies don’t want their music to be used when in fact it’s a free promotion for them.

You Tube Discoveries

Here in the Philippines alone, we can boast that Charice and Arnel Pineda (vocalist of Journey) were discovered through You Tube. How about Moymoy Palaboy (a lipsynching brothers) who catapulted their fame through the site?

Many persons from around the world are becoming famous nowadays. Even television programs and movie trailers, new music videos are being uploaded to this very popular portal, You Tube.

Even Hub Pages staff promote our site and gained worlwide attention. It's a very cool thing to do. I also have my own site. If you have time, you can see and comment my videos at MrMusicman1971. It's not self-serving. It's just that I'm a You Tuber, like you.

What's in 'You Tube'?

For your further readings, you can buy two books on sale at Amazon.

  1. The first book, YouTube and Video Marketing: An Hour a Day,  will guide you on how to market your video online. My first tip on this is to subscribe to fellow YouTubers as much as you can. Make your video unique by giving a witty title so that many viewers will have their attention. In just an hour a day, your hits will grow if you also subscribe to millions of down-loaders from around the world. Make friends and post some meaty and sound comments, so that others will like you, too.
  2. YouTube: An Insider's Guide to Climb the Charts will let you compete with others by following the tips that were given by the author of this book. An insider's guide will make you crave to upload more videos wisely as you climb the YouTube charts. You can be listed on All-Time Top 40 or Top 10 earners on the site as your uploads get more viewership and comments. With this book available at Amazon, you can never go wrong once you open your account on this public site.
