YouTube Greats Part 3 - Classic Ads
Some advertisements can drive you crazy and you feel like you've watched them a million times, but others seem to be entertaining however many times you see them.
Here I've selected a few very old ones that have stuck in my mind from years gone by. Often I can barely remember what they're actually advertising, but they are just classic!
Giggling Aliens...
I don't know why, but this was the first ad that came to mind when I was deciding what to include in this hub.
The best part about this is the contagious laughter, and the fact that aliens find human beings completely hilarious because they continue to peel potatoes and boil them for 20 of their "Earth" minutes...
The man who would do anything for you...
This man sneaks onto your boat just to leave you a delicious box of chocolates..
As long as he's handsome it sounds fair enough to me...
In times of frustration...
I love this ad showing a poor guy having issues getting his passport photo taken in one of those booths
...it reminds me of all the times I've tried to get something right but with no luck whatsoever..
In this case there is only one solution...
The advent of round tea-bags...
The Tetley tea-folk are an English tradition that has been around for over 20 years now.
Famous for 2,000 perforations in every tea-bag they championed its evolution into the round variety..
The Cream of Manchester
For some men, this is how all women should smell....
I won't spoil the punchline...
Like to add more....??
Do you have any all time favourites that you'd like to add to the list ?
