Who is Angus?
Angus Redford Sutherland is the youngest son of Donald Sutherland and Francine Racette. His extended family includes older brothers Roeg and Rossif, half-brother Kiefer, and half-sister Rachel. Born September 3rd, 1979, (verified through Kiefer's biography) in Vancouver, BC, Canada, Angus speaks fluent French in addition to English.
His father bestowed the middle name of "Redford" in homage to actor/director Robert Redford, who directed Donald Sutherland in Ordinary People. His first on-screen role was on the American television drama Commander In Chief in 2005. Angus played the young Nathan Templeton (the character his father Donald was playing in the series) in an episode titled "Rubie Dubidoux and the Brown Bound Express". The episode is available on iTunes.
It seems Angus is starting to pull roles that share common ground with his family. After appearing as a younger version of his father's character, he starred in Lost Boys: The Tribe as the vampire leader Shane. Ironically, twenty years before the film's release, half-brother Kiefer starred in The Lost Boys as the vampire leader David. Lost Boys: The Tribe was released in July 2008, straight to DVD. Its popularity paved the way for a third (and hopefully final) sequel in the film series, Lost Boys: The Thirst. Angus had no part in the third film.
Angus had a supporting role as a model named 'Anton' in Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay. For those who see the movie, Angus appears in the last ten minutes. Blink and you'll miss him.
He appeared in an episode of the short-lived FOX series Dollhouse in 2009, playing Iilya in the episode "True Believer". If you missed it, the episode is available on the Dollhouse DVD set.
Straight-to-DVD sequel to the smash cult classic vampire film The Lost Boys (Blu-ray Edition)
More Recent Projects
Angus played a character named 'Walker' in 2008's Familiar Strangers. A movie entitled The Flicker's Dance once appeared on his IMDB.com credits, but has since been withdrawn. The most recent projects Angus has participated in are two short films: One Day (2010) and Soundtrack (2011). The latter has been completed but appears not to have been released.

No Longer in the Spotlight
In interviews, Rossif has stated he and Angus took up boxing together. What other hobbies and activities Angus enjoys are unknown.
Images of the youngest Sutherland are few and far between. A handful from a screening of Pride and Prejudice in 2005, which was attended by Donald and Angus, are a few that the public has seen of Angus with his father. Promotional images from various movies are pretty much the only public glimpses given of Angus in recent years.
Presently, very little is still known about Angus Sutherland. It appears more and more that very little about this private man will come to light, as he seems to have stepped away from the public spotlight.
