People can't get enough of Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata's hit manga. It's because Death Note was so-brilliantly made that a lot of adaptations were made. It began on 2006, when a live-action film starring Tatsuya Fujiwara (Light) and Kenichi Matsuyama (L) was produced, following a spin-off film about L, directed by Hideo Nakata entitled L: Change the World, which was released on February 9, 2008. Another production, Death Note The Musical, has it's world premiere last year in April at Nissay Theater at Tokyo. The latest production was the 2015 TV drama series starring Masataka Kubota as Light Yagami and Kento Yamazaki as L.

In this year's film, the story is set 10 years prior to the Kira incident, where the Shinigami sends death notes to the ground, emphasizing that there are 6 death notes that can be used at the same time. This time, the story takes a higher level of suspense with mass murders and a computer virus called "Kira". Can they stop Kira this time?
