No contest! I dropped Facebook like a hot potato after my computer picked up a particularly virulent virus from the site that burrowed deep into the hard drive and was expensive to eradicate.
I really felt I was wasting my time on FB anyway. I can say "hi" to friends and family via regular email, and don't especially want to know the minute-by-minute status of a "friend of a friend of a friend", so I don't miss Facebook at all. In fact, I felt liberated once I closed my FB account, and no longer felt I needed to check my FB page. All the apps on FB seem like silly time-wasters to me. (Maybe that's my age speaking.)
As for Hubpages, I've been fascinated by this community of writers ever since discovering it five months ago. I love reading what other people write and have made friends here. I like posting my own writing, and enjoy the comments made by my "followers." There's nothing like Hubpages! Facebook...eat your heart out!
