If a zombie apocalypse happened, where would you want to set up your defense?

I would chose either Cabelas or another large sporting goods store. Due to their weapon stocks as well as food rations and water.

On an island? Surely Zombies can't swim, not with those bodies.

A super walmart! You got food, clothes, guns, ammo, and furniture along with plenty of supplies to barricade the doors! A no brainer in my book.

I wouldn't... if the Zombie Apocalypse occurred I would want to be dead.  Zombies are my greatest fear and even if I was capable of surviving it the world would be nothing after it was done anyways.  Plus I would not want to risk being contaminated.  No matter what happened it just does not seem like a situation I would like to live through.

I second the super walmart for all the same reasons.  And when you're not fighting zombies you can play video games, Resident Evil perhaps.

Provided I already had weapons & ammo, I would prefer to establish a bunker at a municipal office building. But if I didn't have weapons, my top choice would be a police station. I can pick up hand guns, rifles, ammo, clothing, maps and a vehicle. Not only that, but I would be able to use any radio equipment to find other survivors and find out where the zombie hot spots are.

If you go to the local mart, everyones going to have the same idea. you might find other survivors, but you all will also be fresh meat and more liable to attract hordes of zombies.
Go up a building and the only way is up, Even if you barricade well enough, how long before you barricade yourself in, before going out for supplies.
Dealing with other survivors. When the world goes to (PeeeeeP). and there are no laws no rules. who you trust and who you dont, matters

Me i guess i'm going to get onto a nice cruiser ship boat enough for a family and a few more & go sit out in the middle of the goddamn sea, till the chaos dies out, till i can come inland for more supplies.

Cant live in the sky, or i would've.
